Has Any non-US Flag ever been defaced with the Peace Sysmbol?

After this weekend's brew-ha-ha in PHX, LA and elsewhere I got to thinking; I've never seen the Union Jack, the Canadian Mapleleaf, or any other national colors ever defaced and discrespected, just the US Colors.

Has any one else noticed this?

If there is another national colors that's been defaced I'd sure like to see the jpg.

hmmm...I know some people have put that on their UN flag graphics over the years, but no .jpg comes to mind.

Most of those numbnuts probably don't even know what an upside flag means....it is used as a distress symbol, especially maritime.

There is one reason most of the posters are forgetting -- the USA is the biggest fish in the ocean, it's the number 1 all powerful superpower, with an economy larger than it's rivals, a military larger and more powerful than ALL others and a cultural magnet that makes kids from Brighton to Bombay to Beijing to Barbados want to act Americano. The US is that smartest, most athletic, most good-looking, super-duper kid in the class who everyone wants to be and yet everyone dislikes because they can't be even 1/8th of what the USA is.

If you want to be so ahead of the pack, you gotta be prepared for the stones they toss at your back.

Defacing the US flag is a Viet Nam protest commie hippie thing that was shared with the Latin American communist movement. Now it is just done as a protest symbol for any stinky group that comes along.

The racists who were chanting that Gringos should leave the US in recent protests - they deface the US flag because they hate Gringos and know it hurts Americans when they see the flag disrespected. Racists are very mean like their soul mates, the communists.

Initially the war protesters passed around inside their groups the meaning of an upside down US flag, but, given their emotional instability many probably think now that it has something to do with good luck emptying out(like upside down horseshoes).

They deface the American flag to piss us off; we let them because the ones who do so and their causes are so insignificant as not to matter. If their causes were of consequence, we have elections regularly, and they could vote in the candidates of their choice-- but then they would have to live with the consequences of their choices, which the flag burning segment could not imagine. They are the ones who can oppose, but never propose, and that is why they politically masturbate by burning flags and never make a difference despite making an occasional headline.

As an amateur vexillologist, I'd have to say I have never seen any other flag defaced with a Peace Symbol.
