Has Any non-US Flag ever been defaced with the Peace Sysmbol?

After this weekend's brew-ha-ha in PHX, LA and elsewhere I got to thinking; I've never seen the Union Jack, the Canadian Mapleleaf, or any other national colors ever defaced and discrespected, just the US Colors.

Has any one else noticed this?

If there is another national colors that's been defaced I'd sure like to see the jpg.

Probably two - the Union Jack and the Israeli flag.

Israeli flags get defaced all the time, by the same leftist dirtbags.

How international is the peace symbol...isn't it mainly American?

Well, I can tell you on good authority that if you did that to a Chinese flag in the PRC, you'll soon wish you hadn't. When I was in China I was explaining to a college student why our freedom of expression allows us to burn or deface our own flag as a form of political protest. He found this curious, and told me that disrespect of a state flag in China is so taboo as to be unimaginable. He wasn't even sure what the exact punishment was, but he was sure, one way or another, it was a crime you'd only attempt once.

The first 30 or so pages of a Google image search revealed no recognizable non-U.S. national flags with a peace symbol.

Found one Texas one:

Technically, it is the footprint of the American Chicken.

It originated in Great Britain as the Ban-the-Bomb symbol and was appropriated by the peace-niks and popularized over here by the likes of Jane Fondue and JefnKerry among others during the Anti-Nam protests.

Here's the origin of this symbol. It was actually invented in the UK

I have seen the rainbow flag with the peace sign and I have seen some envirowhacko flag with the peace sign. And thats just within a mile of my house. If you are referring to real flags of real countries, Nope, just the US. Upside down US flags are more plentiful the closer you get to downtown Portland though.

The Union Jack, and the Israeli flag, probably.

The Canadian flag? Possibly, but doubtful.
