The betrayal of America
The Augusta Free Press ^ | February 20, 2006 | Max Friedman

Posted on 02/28/2006 3:36:19 PM PST by EveningStar

This column is a rant, not a soft, cuddly piece of fluff opinion. It is going to tell the truth like you have never heard it before. To quote Jack Nicholson from the movie "A Few Good Men" - "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth" - but I'm going to give it to you anyway.

So, as your mother used to do to those of you readers who are old enough to remember, hold your nose and take your medicine, because the doctor is in, and he's operating with a chainsaw.

After 35 years in the news/journalism business, from D.C. to Vietnam, I can honestly say that most of the leading Democratic Party politicians and their far-left support groups are traitors to this country. Besides the few who are deceased or out of office, today's DP is loaded with leaders who have sold out this country to the communists, to the Islamofascists and to their egos. Others are just plain stupid, addle-brained and knee-jerk jerks.

(I'll get to the Republicans in a minute)...

In 1952...Actors' Guild president Ronald Reagan - a screen idol recruited by MOCKINGBIRD's Crusade for Freedom to raise funds for the resettlement of Nazis in the U.S....signed a secret waiver of the conflict-of-interest rule with the mob-controlled studio, in effect granting it a labor monopoly on early television programming.

I'm having a little trouble with this one, for instance. My tinfoil keeps slipping. Anything that would lend any credence to any of this guy's claims?

Thanks for the links. I've sent his marvelous 'manifesto' to my mega email list.

All the responses are very favorable......most are reporting that their 'key boards are also on fire'..... :)

Thanks for the ping!

We have to defeat the enemies domestic before we can defeat the enemies foreign. It's a long list. The fact that one of the biggest traitors of my generation was the Democrat nominee for POTUS in 2004 still blows my mind.

McCarthy was right… and I'm not talking Eugene.

This guy claims at the end he will never vote Democrat again. So I would take his comments about spineless Republicans to be more of a balance to his disdain of Democrats/Communists

Understood, lol.

However, through the years I've seen this very type of "wake up" in many former liberals in CA. And when the Democrat "delusions" were swept from their eyes... they awakened ANGRY at Republicans. As in.. "thanks to you just not taking OUT these bad folks, I had to wake up MYSELF! And It's YOUR FAULT! I'm angry at everyone, right now."

lol!

Thus they would be totally responsible for the output of the government, with no donkey to pin the tail upon, for all the crap that oozes from the government

Bingo. It is important to place the blame where the blame belongs.

Liberals wish to rewrite History ("truth to power"). Conservatives wish to bring the truth and facts forward.

I repeat, the Republicans have had more than 50 years (more than that actually, remember FDR) to stick it to the Democrats and have failed to tag them for what they actually are.

I doubt folks forget "McCarthyism". And what happened.

Wonderful post! I wish I had written that column. This guy hits the nail on the head, IMO, and then bangs it in.

I kinda find it hard to believe this person was in journalism for over three decades. This article was riddled with common errors.

Thank you so much for posting this, ES! I printed it out yesterday along with the first 50 posts, and I am reading it now with my trusty hi-liter in hand! So far, I've read the first 3 pages, and I thought I'd stop for a moment to bring this back up so I could thank you.

Reading it is like going back through history that I have mostly lived through. (I was an infant in the late '30s)
Everything Max has written is TRUE, so far, and I don't expect any thing less than the truth in the last 2 pages.
I printed it out in VERY SMALL type. LOL

Thanks again.
:)
