Ann Coulter...was definitely Fridays biggest draw at CPAC 2006.
From the get-go the conservative columnist had the crowd cheering and was frequently interrupted by applause.
Many of Coulters talking points came from recent news events -- such as the great Danish cartoon caper and President Bushs Supreme Court nominees.
Muslims are the only group who kill because people call them violent, she said of Islams rage over the printing of Muhammad cartoons.
Speaking about the nation's highest court, Coulter not only expressed elation at Justice Samuel Alitos confirmation, she also shared her feelings on Chief Justice John Roberts ...
She had fun impersonating Sen. Hillary Clinton, mocking Clintons MLK Day remarks on the slave plantation in the House of Representatives, adding: And you know what Im talkin about, girlfriend.
I can say that by the way, Coulter said. My party freed the slaves.
Democrats have three major planks, she explained: Abortion on demand, gay marriage and banning the Boy Scouts.
Someday theyll find a way to combine them all and figure out how to abort all future Boy Scouts.

She forgot the fourth plank: surrender.
There is no doubt that Ann is a persona moreso than an ideologue. I occasionally find her cheerleading and one-liners tiresome as well. However, I wouldn't trade her function as ipecac to the socialist digestive tract for all the tea in China. Or was that cheap shoes in Guatemala? Or knockoff designer jeans in Malaysia? You get the idea.
I suppose it is difficult for bitter people to recognize humor.
If my silly comment offended you in your intellectually superior abilities, I humbly--and with a complete lack of rational thought, as I am incapable of that--beg your brilliant pardon.
(You might wanna think about having some fun sometime, sir St. Paul not born in 1951. It's good for your bod as well as your intellect.)
Exactly as I predicted. She cannot bring herself to admit she was wrong about Roberts.
Nope. She very definitely had a hissy fit over Justice Roberts. She insisted he was "another Souter."
She was right on all counts. I'll take her insight over yours any day.
I could help with that, ANYTIME!
>> Muslims are the only group who kill because people call them violent, she said of Islams rage over the printing of Muhammad cartoons. <<
Yes, Muslims are ALL bad, evil people, EXCEPT for the ones YOU date, right Ann? Amazing how Ann can say we should nuke all Muslim nations and convert them to Christianity -- and freepers laugh it off and worship her -- but when Tancredo says we could theoretically take out Muslim holy sights in retaliation if they destroy ours, he gets skewed as a "nutcase".
>> Speaking about the nation's highest court, Coulter not only expressed elation at Justice Samuel Alitos confirmation, she also shared her feelings on Chief Justice John Roberts ... <<
"Robert is a another SOUTER, I tell you!!! Hell, he's worse than Souter!!! Bush only picked Roberts because he HATES conservatives!!!" Yes, we remember your "feelings" on Chief Justice Roberts very well. Someday you're going to owe this man and his family a heart felt apology, though I doubt he'll ever get it from you. >>
I can say that by the way, Coulter said. My party freed the slaves. <<
But Ann, you previously claimed the slavery-luvin' Dems of the 1860s were the "true conservatives" and being "driven down by the brute force of crass Yankee capitalism", and that whole little skirmish from Lincoln and Grant had NOTHING to do with slavery. Now you call yourself a proud Republican and say "our party" freed the slaves. Can you PLEASE make up your mind on this issue? (And what's with someone allegedly "from Connecticut" described union Republicans as "crass yankee capitalism". Something wrong with capitalism or yankees, Ms. Coulter?)
Muslims are the only people that call others 'violent' so they can kill them.
OK, that's just derivative of A. Coulter's perfect writing.
GOP Big Tent Elephant *h*t...
Well, needless to say, you're on the outside pi$$ing in.
...along with my $$ which, since 2004, no longer go to the GOP Big Tent funds solicitors. We contribute to specific, validated, conservative candidates only. No more $$ for RINOs.
And of course you're one of the only ones that does that, right?
Geez, you all need to get over yourselves.
You are so right. He IS a man of good character and integrity. Some of the Bush bashers here wouldn't recognize decency and character if they fell over it. They've fallen into the spirit of accusation and criticism, which is a part of the spiritual warfare Bush is under. Christians need to pray against these spirits, no matter who is in the White House. I guess it comes along with the territory but never more than with our good President.
I know that Ann is a speaker for the news of the moment, but I wonder what would happen if someone made a tape or CD or DVD of pieces of her speeches? How many would she sell? There is a documentary about Ann, available on DVD at www.anncoulterdoc.comI think lots. It would be inspiring for people to listen to on their way to work or on trips.
Anyone got the ability to make this happen???
It is not PERFECT, but it is pretty good. :o)
Hi, Howlin! These guys came straight from the DNC or DU! Bush has more character and integrity in his little finger than any of these guys have in their whole bodies.
They know he's a man of character; it's like kryptonite to them.
Good one. I don't agree with everything he's done, but he's better than anyone else we could get to run for President. He can't get the things done he wants to because of the obstructionist democrats. Look at the disgusting display at the State of the Union address when Hilliary and her crew stood and applauded when he spoke of the Social Security plan he tried to get through. Cheez.
None of us do; but some of us aren't quite as anal as these "I'm As Pure As The Driven Snow" conservatives; the ones with tunnel vision who don't seem to be able to see the big picture.
Or don't want to. (That's MY guess.....LOL)
