A Quinnipiac University poll found that...

Democrats to be highly depressed:

Q.: Do you think 2005 was better or worse than 2004 for you personally?

Republicans: Better: 65% Worse: 22%

Democrats: Better: 41% Worse: 45%

Time to cheer up Democrats.

Politics isn't everything, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid won't be your leaders forever, let alone Howard Dean.

In 1933 Democrat leaders decided to follow the socialist wave that had captured Europe. Since that time Democrats have been the Socialist movement in America.

Socialism did not sell. While Democrats were successful in implementing some essentials of socialism such as class against class, the progressive income tax, social security, and government schools, they failed to completely get rid of states' rights, and ti abolish private property and Constitutional rule of law.

The Democrats' blew it. They need to let it go and reform the party along the lines of its prior 1933 platform.

I don't expect this to happen because socialists' never go back. To show how far Democrats are out of touch they are obsessed with running Hillary Clinton, a '60s Marxist, for president in 2008.

I see no hope for the Democrats to survive as a viable political party.

Excuse me, but even though you are talking about MY political enemies as well I take the "democrats are stupid" personally in a negative way. My mother and father (and quite a few others in my life that I'm otherwise very close to) are Democrats. None of them are "stupid". Call the 'Rats in Washington calculating, lying, cynical, misguided, greedy ... but DON'T call them stupid. We get lazy with our own reasoning and arguments when we assume they are.

And here's to you Mrs. Democrat
Jesus loves you more than you will know
Woh, woh, woh, . . .

It's a little secret just the Liberals all know.
(Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes.)
Laugh about it, shout about it when you get the news
(Every way you look at it you lose.)

I come from a large family. All Catholics and Democrats. From the steel mills and coal mines of central PA. They were not stupid. They vote their pocket book.

However since the ascendancy of the loony left most are now conservatives. "Reagan Democrats" if you will. There are exceptions though. My uncle is a retired school teacher. He taught American History and he isn't stupid...Masters Degree in education. And he's a flaming liberal.

We have had many conversations over the years on politics. What I came to understand about liberalism (he is a Marxist and active in the Democratic party) is that it's not about logic, reason and problem solving . It's essentially a pose. They need to feel good about themselves. That they are the moral ones while conservatives, America and capitalism are evil. He actually told me this in so many words!

I had him dead to rights on an issue one time using reason and logic and he just gave up and looked to the ceiling and said...."it's a holistic thing". I responded.."it's merely a pose". That sent him into the vapors and he responded..."what's wrong with posing?...more people should pose".

He and his wife then moved to Portland Ore, a liberal enclave, to be with the like minded.

The only thing I ever say to a Democrat is:

Gore lost, deal with it.

I'm shocked that liberal Quinnipiac actually reported this. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Serves 'em right. It must be pure hell for libnut politicians to go to work every day. This is what they get for constantly lying to everyone, including themselves.

My folks are Reagan Democrats. The others are flaming. All are very smart, college graduates and I have no trouble having an intellectual discussion with any of them. However, it's not "stupidity", but it's "intellectual laziness". If they put the same mental effort into their politics as they do in their careers most would probably turn conservative. I don't think any of them think about politics much accept what they get spoon fed from the MSM or NPR or the local newspaper.

Gimmiecrats are incapable of understanding history or religion, so they don't understand humanity or even themselves. They've a view of man as infinitely malleable if only the correct slogans are followed. It is really fascinating.

I certainly didn't mean to imply that rat voters are stupid. In fact the number or rats converting to Republican has risen since 9-11 because they see the danger in supporting terrorists and banking on the failure of our soldiers in an effort to gain politically.

Call the 'Rats in Washington calculating, lying, cynical, misguided, greedy ... but DON'T call them stupid.

I was speaking of the rat leadership. They are stupid, evil, and traitors.

We get lazy with our own reasoning and arguments when we assume they are.

Underestimating rat stupidity is a mistake that could also lead to Republican missteps. You and I recognize the sheer stupidity in tying our hands in a time of war, as do most Americans and many rat voters. If Dubya gave credence to media histrionics and hysterics, and the rat leadership opinion regarding homeland security he might have gotten defensive when the rat media revealed our administration is monitoring terrorist communication to people within the USA. Instead he stared steel-eyed at the reporter and said hell-yes we are monitoring the bad guys and people who blab secrets have hands stained with the blood of our soldiers.

I know the rats don't want to remind thoughtful voters that Dubya is doing all he can to thwart terrorists while the rats aid and abeit them, yet that was the only logical result from the rat reaction to the news. They also reinforced the perception that the rats are liars or brain damaged when it was revealed that the rat members of the intellegence commitee forgot they had been informed of the NSA program a dozen times or more. Is this not stupidity?
