A Quinnipiac University poll found that...

Democrats to be highly depressed:

Q.: Do you think 2005 was better or worse than 2004 for you personally?

Republicans: Better: 65% Worse: 22%

Democrats: Better: 41% Worse: 45%

Time to cheer up Democrats.

Politics isn't everything, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid won't be your leaders forever, let alone Howard Dean.

Well, the obvious cure is to start voting for the people with the "R" after their names.

I talk down to those who mistakenly cast aspersions upon my virility or fitness. Mental or otherwise. Capiche?

Oh, sensitive to threats against your virility or fitness. Get a grip man...accept your state as is is and fight the best you can. I suggest you embrace who may tell you truth about yourself (I don't know you and didn't comment on you personally)...the first battle is inside yourself. The next battle is correctly defining the enemy.

Don't confuse a man who speaks as clearly as he can (however the truth might hurt)...with the enemy. The enemy is islam...the enemy is evil and weakness of spirit.

I am not your enemy.

The only real Democrat is Zell Miller and given half the chance I would kidnap him to the Republican party. All other Democrats are either girlie men or female, men wannabees.

Thomas Jefferson would be rolling in his grave if he only knew what has become of this once vibrant party. The Great Oz Has Spoken

Americans believed that 2000 had been a better year for them than 2004. But the breakdown of the poll found Democrats to be highly depressed:

Hey, I'm a conservative, and 2005 has been the best year for me so far! Made unbelievable strides in my career!
God bless America!
When I say "America" I mean the true Americans, leftists not included.

"Should this be Breaking News?"

Hmmm tough call. Not news to the Right, is news to the Left who can't admit they have not clue?

If the rats were depressed because of this past years happenings, they should be about ready for suicide if they try to contemplate the future. :-)

I have to confess that I REALLY enjoy watching all the Lib shows on the tube, the stuff you couldn't pay me to watch any other time, the day after the election. Then I start feeling guilty for picking on sickos who are totally out of touch with reality, but it's so much fun watching Chrissy Matthews, listening to the whiners on C-Span not playing fake Republicans but trying to figure out what happened at least for one day.

2005 has been 'THE YEAR OF SPITE' from the MSM.

A yearlong temper tantrum in an alternative universe of FAKE NEWS and FAKE POLLS to drag us down into lib misery.

They are miserable and dishonest losers who want to drag us into their false reality.

How 'bout NO!

We win. They lose. Problem solved. Next!!

The worst thing anyone can do is assume your enemies are "stupid".

The rats are stupid and there is no advantage in assuming intellegent motivations are behind the rats positioning themselves as the anti-American party.

I think Bush makes that mistake with all his pandering and sucking up.

You're entitled to your opinon, but I think that what you call "pandering" is for moderate voters not liberal voters. It is not a mistake, and just as it was designed to do, it elected more Republicans in 02 and 04, and allowed Dubya to be re-elected even though the rats improved their turnout by 8 million over the 2000 election. It was nessessary to prevent the rats from returning to power.

In 1933 Democrat leaders decided to follow the socialist wave that had captured Europe. Since that time Democrats have been the Socialist movement in America.

Socialism did not sell. While Democrats were successful in implementing some essentials of socialism such as class against class, the progressive income tax, social security, and government schools, they failed to completely get rid of states' rights, and ti abolish private property and Constitutional rule of law.

The Democrats' blew it. They need to let it go and reform the party along the lines of its prior 1933 platform.

I don't expect this to happen because socialists' never go back. To show how far Democrats are out of touch they are obsessed with running Hillary Clinton, a '60s Marxist, for president in 2008.

I see no hope for the Democrats to survive as a viable political party.
