Excuse me, but even though you are talking about MY political enemies as well I take the "democrats are stupid" personally in a negative way. My mother and father (and quite a few others in my life that I'm otherwise very close to) are Democrats.

I certainly didn't mean to imply that rat voters are stupid. In fact the number or rats converting to Republican has risen since 9-11 because they see the danger in supporting terrorists and banking on the failure of our soldiers in an effort to gain politically.

Call the 'Rats in Washington calculating, lying, cynical, misguided, greedy ... but DON'T call them stupid.

I was speaking of the rat leadership. They are stupid, evil, and traitors.

We get lazy with our own reasoning and arguments when we assume they are.

Underestimating rat stupidity is a mistake that could also lead to Republican missteps. You and I recognize the sheer stupidity in tying our hands in a time of war, as do most Americans and many rat voters. If Dubya gave credence to media histrionics and hysterics, and the rat leadership opinion regarding homeland security he might have gotten defensive when the rat media revealed our administration is monitoring terrorist communication to people within the USA. Instead he stared steel-eyed at the reporter and said hell-yes we are monitoring the bad guys and people who blab secrets have hands stained with the blood of our soldiers.

I know the rats don't want to remind thoughtful voters that Dubya is doing all he can to thwart terrorists while the rats aid and abeit them, yet that was the only logical result from the rat reaction to the news. They also reinforced the perception that the rats are liars or brain damaged when it was revealed that the rat members of the intellegence commitee forgot they had been informed of the NSA program a dozen times or more. Is this not stupidity?

I've done plenty of Bush and Republican bashing on this forum (ask all the Bush and Republobots!) but this is an excellent point.

I will take it to heart.

This is why I'm here: to learn something. You had the decency not to question my thinking, political affiliation or even my Christian faith :-o as others have done.

Bush has laid a lot of eggs in my opinion, and only time will tell if he really is sincere is his own convictions and principles in the way he chooses to handle adversity from the 'Rats and MSM ... but your succinct argument made sense to me.

Thanks! :-)
