MILWAUKEE -- It's the latest in a series of mob beatings in Milwaukee.
This time, according to police, at least 15 young people dragged a man out of his car and kicked and punched him -- after the man honked at them to get them to move out of a street.
The beating left the 50-year-old man with severe head trauma. He's hospitalized in critical condition and police said it's not clear if he'll survive.
No arrests have been made.
Three years ago, more than a dozen people chased a man through the streets of Milwaukee and beat him to death with shovel handles, rakes and tree limbs. Most of the attackers were young boys.
And last year, a man with schizophrenia died after being beaten and robbed by a group of assailants. Six teens were charged and one has been convicted.
Would love to see the racial makeup of the group. Now there seems to be wannabe gangster whites more involved in this stupidity.
Hate crime?
As in France, so in Milwaukee. Youth needs to be free.
I'm ashamed to live around this city. They have a Dem Mayor who is missing in action and can't be bothered to actually address this type of thing.
It's a disgrace.
Prayers for this man and his family.
Clearly the CHL applications will start to flow a bit faster with such stories as these......just my opinion of course.
What's the mayor supposed to do? Isn't this sort of thing already illegal? Should he light up the bat shaped beacon?

I urge you to research urban crimes, and the race of the perpetrators.

I was driving through a bad part of town one time, when 2 gangs appeared out of nowhere from both sides of the street.
I floored it and watched guys go flying in both directions. I didn't have any dings, but I wasn't worried about that anyway.
Please explain.

Honking the horn?? Shoot....I don't even look to the left or right when sitting at a red light...and I have found out that my friends don't either...
There are just way to many instances of random shootings of drivers..
I was behind a pickup in Fort Worth a couple of years ago..at nighttime...and as it passed a car that was going the speed limit in the inside lane (a NO-NO inTexas)...someone in the back of the pickup started shooting...
I don't know if it was related to the speed of the driver..or what,...but, I slowed down, way down...until that car was out of my sight.
I didn't have a cell phone at the time or I would have called 911.
I'd say anyone who's not currently locked up. I don't like background checks, and anyone who's not fit to defend himself in accordance with the Constitution isn't fit to be walking (or driving) the streets either.
