That is so cool! I actually got to meet General Honore a few weeks back before Hurricane Rita and althought I didn't get his picture, I did get his autograph. Please thank your daughter for me!

Nope - this is a big brigade.
I only heard second-hand about LTC North being here, so I never saw him.

I've met Oliver North myself. I got the impression that he's very laid-back and quiet when he's not on television.

I love that guy! He's done so much to help the morale of our troops - more than anyone knows.
I'm glad that your daughter got to shake his hand.
And next time you talk to your daughter, tell for me, "thank you for your service."
To: Jen's Mom
I bet he felt more than equally honored.
What a woman!

Not trying to one-up you but I attended the same Church that he did, through the Iran Contra thing. The men of the Church banded around Ollie and supported him, in prayer and in a Bible study group. I was proud to shake his hand, many times.
When he ran for Senator in VA, he had moved to a farm in the Western part of the County, and after a period of time, I guess he found a Church closer to home, as he and the family stopped coming. I miss him and his family to this day.
To: Jen's Mom
Very cool. Blessings to your daughter and my heartfelt thank you to her for serving our great country. I know what freedom is, thanks to her and those like her.
Merry Christmas to our military
