Stanley Tookie Williams executed Crips gang co-founder put to death for 4 murders

SAN QUENTIN, California (CNN) -- Convicted killer and Crips gang co-founder Stanley Tookie Williams was executed early Tuesday at the California state prison at San Quentin.
The execution went ahead as scheduled after the U.S. Supreme Court late Monday rejected a last-ditch appeal.
The high court's ruling followed California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's decision to deny clemency for Williams, 51, who received a lethal injection at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday (3:01 a.m. ET).

He looked like that Barry White wannabe who almost beat up Billy Ray in "Trading Places."
Or would they have been around if Tookie had only killed other homies?
"YEAH!" :)
Yeah, and I understand Don Cornelius is going to "give the word."
(Inside joke that only I and maybe two other freepers find hysterical).
Don't forget, this is what jesse jackson does for a living...it's normal that he would be there. Absurd, but normal.
I am in favor of abolishing lethal injection and going back to the long-drop gallows; I am also in favor of making the act of execution come sooner after conviction. Furthermore, the occasion should be ceremonious, if not public. This is a ritual of State, not a casual taking of life. You don't put killers to sleep like a sick cat. You TAKE their lives from them.
The issue is whether or not life is so precious that the State should punish the wanton, deliberate, taking of life. It is. It is not that the State holds life worthless to hang a murderer; it is that the State values it.
"And I'm quite put-off by the celebratory attitude that some people here are taking. I don't think this is anything to celebrate like the coming of the New Year..."
The knowledge that there's one less murderous scumbag on the face of the earth adds a nice, pleasant glow to the morning, though. Do I feel like drinking champaigne? No, but I'm glad that human POS assumed room temperature, and commend Arnold for not buckling to the leftist Hollywood idiots.
But to avoid state's law because of positive doings post heinous crimes would be like reprieving Hitler because after twenty years of appeals allowed him to write children's books denouncing Nazism.
Bye, Bye Tookie...if anyone deserved it, you did.
I celebrate not entertainment, but long-delayed justice rendered.
I think he was commenting on a mob killing.
Took 'em long enough. He only murdered in 1979.
"The Jewish answer is if our lives are cut short for any reason, we're sent back again. Whoever didn't get to live out their biblically decreed sum of earthly years gets a second chance. And so it is said that Abel came back as Moses and Cain came back as Aaron and they repaired the gulf between them as brothers and went on to do a great deal of good in the world. So its not at all hopeless, unless you really believe as many on the Left apparently do, that this life is the only one that counts. "
Would you please tell me where this appears in Scripture?? Don't think this is Jewish doctrine
We can expect an HBO movie, "The Tookie Williams Story," celebrating his victimhood, starring Bianca Jagger with guest appearances by the Rev. Tookie Jackson and the Rev. Tookie Sharpton.
The Fox reporter said that Williams was trying to intimidate the media by relentlessly staring them down during the time before the fluids were injected. "Exasperated" was not a word he used, "intimidation" was.
The "fear" here is not being afraid, but praising and worshiping God...

The saddest thing is that Mike Farell goes back to being a Z-list actor. Actually, that's not so sad.
