Brett Hume had a great line tonight, to the effect of "The French have decided to get tough against the rioters by imposing a midnight curfew."

How many days did it take for them to surrender to the Germans. This may be a new record.

Please, tell me this is not a serious article. Not even DdeV + Chirac could have come with a POS like this. Somebody MUST SAY THIS IS A JOKE.

Has anybody noticed the sublime inconsistency here? For thirty years we've been hearing from the socialist Euros about how badly they say we treat the blacks in the U.S. Now France has 6 million Muslims they stuck in sub-standard housing. Their way of handling things sure is better than ours. /Sarcasm

It is late, and i am tired, but let me address the first one only:
"All the young people of less than 25 years, applicants for work or not, living one of the 750 significant zones, will be received in the three next months for a "maintenance deepened" by the ANPE, in the local missions or the Houses of employment. A "specific solution" will be proposed to them in the three months (formation, training course or contract)."
How many are illegal and will not show up? How many never really wanted to do any kind of work, especially not some menial job the gov't doles out for busywork? How many of these scum have any real skills, and if they do, how do you propose inventing a job to employ them? With the French economy being what it is (merde), where will they get the cash and how will it drain from an already shaky economy when so many resources are being devoted to these idiots? Also, does anyone really expect these thugs to show up to forced employment offices to carry out some job, contract, or training? They are drug dealers and thieves, and they like the life they lead--and it just got a whole lot more exciting and glamorous lately! Unbelievable! The rest is worse; I think I'm going to enjoy watching the racaille make monkeys out of these dopes.

Most of them are not employable; we have "unemployables" here too. No amount of education or training will help; all you can do it tell them it's work of long prison terms. Or you deport them.

Yes, if the Islamo-terrorists care to continue conditioning the French government toward their ends, they will end the rioting for now, and let it start up again in eighteen months to two years, after the reinforcements have brought in the heavier weapons and more money from "friends and relatives" back home.
Then, they wait for some other convenient "drop in the bucket" to mask their take-over activities. Heck, maybe next time Villepain will give them one of the Louvre's halls to sell off. Then or later, it matters but a little.
If the thugs are hopelessly ignorant, maybe they'll press their luck a bit too soon and hasten a backlash throughout the rest of Europe. One can hope?

The source for funding all of these social programs will be from their "oil for money" profits. That way they can finance all of the future little Saddams getting an education and jobs in their grand social scheme, until, of course, those future Saddams turn on them. Oh the irony of it all.

TERRITORY
We also pledge to our Muslim brothers and sister the Sudetenland.
JEWISH PROBLEM
In keeping with the glorious historical past of France, we will had over thousands of Jews to the Imams in order to get them out of France. We also promise to hand over even more than asked for per historical precedent with our collaboration with the Nazis.
AMERICA BASHING
We will increase by 45% our propaganda against the American people and their soldiers fighting the brave Muslim warriors around the world. In addition, we will place an additional "hate-tax" of 32% on all American tourists in and around France, with an additional "Child Tax" of 57% for every American child under the age of 18 who visits EuroDisney.

"No, but France is basicly setting the tone for western nations here. As France goes, the terrorist could reason, so will go the rest of them. This is going to affect more than France."
Right. It makes our job more difficult. But even worse for Germany, Denmark, and possibly Spain, IMHO. Although, I don't know what Spain's immigration policy is.

"Heck, let's bomb France, maybe they'll vote with us in the UN after that."
That would actually work, although the rest of the UN countries would boycott the US, oil would reach $200 a barrel, China and N. Korea would do all they could to humiliate us, Taiwan and Japan would suddenly become scared of us, the Brits would condemn us and possibly pull a Doolittle over New York, etc.
But hey, it would almost be worth it!

What a bunch of crap, every time you practice appeasement, you get kicked in the face. These folks see appeasement as weakness and will come at you even harder. Terrorists only what to kill you not tolerate you. Amen.
