This is the first time that I have read that a government is appeasing rioters. Is there such a thing in the past.

What is the difference between Rioters and Iraqi Insurgent?

Aren't they the same, destruction of innocent lives and properties.

The French citizen, innocent as they are, are being hurt daily. Without any forceful actions to reduce the rioters violent actions is just playing into the hands of rioters.
They have had taken the law into their hands, rightfully the French Government must take a hard stand just like what Israel is currently doing.

Elsewhere in the world, the rioters are shot if seen participating in rioting or arrested if in non action.

Unless and until forceful actions are taken, rioting will go on.

NOTE:
Should the rioters calm down with the appeasement method, the French Government is indirectly being held at ransom because there will be further demands. If these are not met it will spark another rioting as a means towards obtaining concessions.

Appeasement MUST COME AFTER FORCEFUL ACTIONS TAKEN TO UPHOLD THE LAW

I've read the seminal work of both Hayek and his mentor, Mises many years ago. But I am certainly not against re-reading FA Hayek; he is a magisterial economist, but not really a philosopher in the comprehensive term.

"multiculturalism"

They don't have multiculturalism is Europe, at least in France They are intolerant hypocrites. Minorities in France are tucked away in suberbs outside of Paris. They have no tolerance for anything including, obesity, sloppy dress, English, etc.. When I say intolerant, I mean intolerant.

The US is incredibly diverse and tolerant. Minorities blend in, as do fat, sloppy people. I love this country.
