[history]
Watching the Democrat Senators on C-Span whining about not being able to hang Bush for going to war against Saddam Hussein and his murderous Islamofascist regime.
The only thing I can conclude is:
The Marxist Democrat Party is a corrupt, treasonous, America-hating criminal enterprise.
Thank God they are in the minority. May they forever remain in the minority.

May the bird-flu strike the Dems in the senate like a plague.

Do you think the Republicans would replace the Rats (move further left) after they have imploded, thus bringing a new Conservative Party on the right into the light?

Oh, I think there is a difference.
The biggest trouble is that Bush, somewhat like Carter, believes be nice to people and they will be nice to you.
I pray he has learned a lesson. The dims are trying to destroy his presidency. They will, if he doesn't get his back up, I mean get real angry at how they constantly berate him and his associates from the Vice President down to probably his least important aide.
The quote from Lincoln on this site is what we should start repeating. I most likely had it in school but don't recall the quote. Of course it is over sixty years ago since I have been in school.
This closed session of the Senate without letting the opposition know about it is the lowest maneuver I have
ever seen or heard of in my 65 years of being a political junkie.
As conservatives, instead of calling our leaders names, we should point out [in a dignified and polite way] what we DO Not agree with. At the same time, for now, all we have are the Republicans as they are.
Voting for another party instead of the Republicans only gives the Socialists [Democrats} more power. I believe that would be catastrophic for the country and perhaps the world.

100% accurate.
Jim, when will the Republicans recognize the RATs are at war against everyting this nation was founded on? It is not politics, it is war. It is a brutal frontal assault on everything we conservatives hold dear.
Why do the Republcians feel they need to be "bipartisan" and "reach across the aisle" when the other side is fanatics hell bent on destroying the Republicans and the nation along with it?
You are totally correct. We must get the Republicans to wake up and see the war being waged against us.

Do you think the Republicans would replace the Rats (move further left) after they have imploded, thus bringing a new Conservative Party on the right into the light? I am actually quite worried about what I fear the true agenda is: to use the weakness of the Democratic Party as the moment to attack all that remains of what is good in America, on all fronts, and destroy us once and for all, as a free nation. Hillary's marching orders of using one political action to gain many reverberating actions in effect are now what we see. She needs to create the illusion of weakness of the Republicans to disguise her own party's weakness, and, thus, in attacking now, prepares a possible sweep for when her cronies buy or steal the upcoming election for her. She is absolutely the most dangerous woman for the future of this country; why people do not cry for the release of her master's thesis, which, no doubt is some kind of plan to overthrow this country or some such--else why would she take such pains to hide it?--speaks to our collective laziness where her accountability is concerned.
A conservative party born with the implosion of the fringe left still has to deal with the remnants of that left. It will not be pretty, and, may be violent.

May I add its members are ugly, have bad breath, and reek of body odor too.

Yeah, I also left off "evil" because I wanted to avoid the appearance of overdoing it or piling on. Just the facts, ma'am.

I concur. Really, our fate is totally up to the Republican leadership now, in a lot of ways. I hope they get a better grip and build upon it. The Rats are begging to become 100% irrelevant. Good post by you.

'Nationwide' stats are meaningless. Constitutional Republic concepts and the electoral college are all that matter for national elections.

Good point. At least you didn't object to calling them a corrupt, treasonous, America-hating criminal enterprise.

No. I think she'd appoint a Harriet Miers. Or a David Souter.

Nope. Lots of calluses there. Helps me maintain my semi-erect posture.

These guys are completely nuts!!! Can you imagine President Howard Dean? It could easily have happened. Or President Al Gore? It almost did! Very scary.
An honest, sensible, mature, and intelligent public servant who really believed in economic redistribution and unilateral pacifism I could disagree with, but respect. Joe Lieberman is almost in that group (he was quite dishonest during the Clinton impeachment).
Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are actually the minority leaders, though. And the party leaders were/are Terry McAuliffe and Howard Dean! It worries me.
