FOX News (Click here for MUST SEE Video) ^ | Brit Hume and Major Garrett

Posted on 09/07/2005 3:35:54 PM PDT by NickatNite2003

Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""

"How are they going to recall her when New Orleans is effectively out of service for the next 6-12 months?"

N.O. elected her, but the rest of the state could recall her.

Without New ORleans' votes, Dims are DEAD in Louisiana!

I just got a breaking news that 25-30 bodies have been found in a St. Bernard parish nursing home.

We don't know the whole truth here. In prior posts there was discussion that the staff did all they could but couldn't get that last ones out. On the surface I get a gut reaction like you, but there is more to it than what we know now.

Hugh Hewitt was talking about Mike Brown who frauded the levee board.

Is that why he's now the head of FEMA, LMAO.

It seems common names can cause problems eh?

I'm pretty sure Cambell was relieved when she found out.

Is there a way for 'someone' or an 'entity' to take out life insurance or a viatical on town citizens?

Don't know.

But if I had to search for the answer, I'd start first at the nursing homes.

Do your schools take life insurance monies out on your children?

My school does. No request for permission either.

Yes, and let's remember that Sidney 'Slimebag' Blumenthal was FIRST out of the box with an absolutely vicious column saying that hurricane relief would be a disaster and it's Bush's fault because the LA National Guard had some of its resources in Iraq (even though they still had PLENTY in-state and lots of other NG resources that they only had to request) -- I think that came out before or during the hurricane!! Sid Vicious already had the story he wanted out there..... now we need to find out exactly what the Landrieus and Blanco did and didn't do.... i.e., did Blanco specifically refuse any outside offers of aid, block cooperation with FEMA, etc.???? We now know about the fiasco with blocking the Red Cross, and they are an essential part of FEMA planning..... need to know more! Wish we could have tapes of the discussions between Blanco and her staff, the Landrieus, etc. That would blow this whole thing apart.

Homeland Security won't let Red Cross deliver food

That's STATE OF LOUISIANA Homeland Security -- NOT federal Homeland Security.

Note that the reporterette in your linked article automatically blames "federal" homeland security --while her quoted Red Cross official apparently didn't say that. Here's the Red Cross quote:

"The Homeland Security Department [which one? state or federal?] has requested and continues to request that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans," said Renita Hosler, spokeswoman for the Red Cross.

FoxNews reporter Major Garrett said his Red Cross source was very specific that it was the STATE, not the feds.

Anybody who doesn't make the distinction is either being duped, or is one of the dupers.

They do every year. I have the promo material in my hand right now.

After learning about the viaticals from the Terri case, learning about the insurance policies the companies had on the WTC employees, and I hold the policy material in my hand from my kids' school....

I can't help but wonder...about N.O.

The jackals in the media and their cohorts in the demon party only want hearings on the federal response. They will fight like hell to keep the questions away from Louisiana. We can't let that happen. We need to keep posting every bit of information about the TRUTH.

I couldn't agree more, and have been e-mailing a "Katrina: blame game update" to some influential friends who write op eds (on other topics) in the WSJ, etc. In this way, the TRUTH is bound to get out...just not (for a while) in the LSM (formerly, the MSM--a name that is too dignified for these jackals).

"As you said, "This is a BLUE DRESS MOMENT."

Yep, and going into attack mode while so much heavy lifting has to be done is disgusting.

They're having another WELLSTONE FUNERAL MOMENT

Yep. The LSM is truly disgusting.

The crank Reverend Jackson actually had a presser with the incredibly lame Governor Blanco and the CEO of Venezuela's CITGO. You go, Jesse! Keep the blacks on the plantation. Help out sister Blanco! That way you can continue to make money at the expense of the people you supposedly represent.

At some point, I know that I heard the MRE's and water were being shared with the convention center....instead of 3 times a day, the MRE's at the SD were cut down to twice in order to give some to the convention center....and you are correct. The CS wasn't a planned shelter.

If the incompetent govenorette had allowed the Red Cross in, the people on Sheps overpass would have been fed, also.

We don't know the whole truth here. In prior posts there was discussion that the staff did all they could but couldn't get that last ones out.

News report on FoxNews was that the attendants did exactly what you say. They got all they could, and were told that evacuation resources would be coming to get the rest of the patients.

Likewise, 100 people in a warehouse had been told transportation was coming to evacuate them. It didn't come.

Somebody was "making promises" and didn't follow through. They know who they are, and I hope they feel guilty and repent. But for sure, it wasn't the Feds.

On the surface I get a gut reaction like you ...

My anger is still welling up.
