Civilian gangs have overtaken streets in N.O.French Quarter and robbing businesses...a N.O. Police officer came upon a looting fest at a gas station and was shot point blank in the head.
All looters are armed with guns according to police
I have seen two white ones. NO is largely black and very poor. The very poor are left.
HMMMMM....Integrated looting.
I have revised my earlier hopeful stance on looting:
"Shoot them all and let God sort them out."

News film crews have already come across gangs of looters. I saw it the nightly news tonight.
Saw footage of a large group wheeling stuff out of the back door of a abondoned target store. Appeared to be a lot of electronics gear.
Guess its free mp3 player day in NO.
They all ducked to hide their faces when the news truck rolled by with cameras rolling, and then ran back into the store when they saw there was no cops or army around.
I know 9-11 doesn't compare to this catastrophe, but NYorkers were extremely decent during that emergency! If I recall correctly, there was no looting, but folk helping folk! This is so sad to see Americans do this. Groceries I can understand, tv's and other stuff I have deep concerns! OBTW...IT'S BUSH'S FAULT..(sarcasm/off)
Being a white guy I volunteer to be the first one to shoot the white looters on site.
I don't want to appear to be a racist.
I don;t understand something. On the one hand, people are being rescued from roof tops; yet in other areas they are running around looting...is it just that they are different areas of NO?
Time to sweep the streets with 12-gauge Streetsweepers.
"Shoot to kill" should cool their jets for a bit! Martial Law has been declared, so looters should be shot on sight.
