Civilian gangs have overtaken streets in N.O.French Quarter and robbing businesses...a N.O. Police officer came upon a looting fest at a gas station and was shot point blank in the head.
All looters are armed with guns according to police

I knew it would come to this, and it's only gonna get worse until they start shooting some looters.

My suspicion is that after this cop was shot this morning the shoot to kill order was put into effect for both the cops and the National Guard.

I don't know about the report you reference but I just saw video of a New Orleans cop going after looters. Raised his shotgun and the guy dropped the stuff he was stealing. Good for the police officer!
