I don't know about the report you reference but I just saw video of a New Orleans cop going after looters. Raised his shotgun and the guy dropped the stuff he was stealing. Good for the police officer! I just saw a video of two NO cops looting! It was hilarious. They got busted big time!

I just saw a video of two NO cops looting! It was hilarious. That would have to be the CNN clip I saw last night. Two greatly overweight lady cops, who looked like the sort of people that would in the olden days enjoy the petty power of being crossing guards. Instead they were waddling around armed. I hope the union doesn't stand up for them when they're fired.
When I saw the video, it occurred to me that confronting them like that could very possibly put the news crew in danger.

I had heard the NO police Dept was notoriously corrupt.....but then I also heard a police chief was imported from another city a few years back to "clean it up"...
