Bomb Threat in Crawford
Powerline ^

Posted on 08/21/2005 2:05:39 PM PDT by Republican Red

Our correspondent Gene Allen reports that just a few minutes ago, an unidentified man telephoned the Yellow Rose Gift Shop in Crawford, Texas and said, "Your shop is going up in smoke, you better get out now." Law enforcement is on the scene.

Gene describes the Yellow Rose as "a pro-Bush gift shop with a Ten Commandments monument out front. It is located across the street from the Coffee Station, down the street from the Crawford Peace House."

I don't suppose any of those peace-loving folks would have anything to do with a bomb threat.

IF these so called "anti-war" people really want peace, then why are they making bomb threats against conservatives?

Why not live in peace with conservatives?

It seems to me these guys really don't stand for peace; what they really stand for is hate against conservatives.

Yes, they bastardized everything ......they took the ancient finger salute of V for victory and corrupted it into their false peace symbol.

Hippie Bill Clinton personally represents their rallying cry "make love not war".

But the lasting damage was done by their demoralizing effect on the good and honorable military people who served in Vietnam. They were "welcomed home" with spittle and worse and called terrible names.

We must never send out troops overseas again unless we are prepared to watch their backs here at home.

"They're all having the ULTIMATE mid-life crisis, aren't they?"

Fonda is 68 years old and Baez is 65, so unless they know a lot of 130 to 140 year old's, I'd say they are way past "mid-life-crisis."

Sorry, just noticed your reply to me among all the noise and confusion that is my ping list.

I haven't heard about Cheryl Crow one way or the other.

Not a fan of most popular music, I'm afraid.

Cheers!

"The two Camp Caseys are people in support of the President"
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1467507/posts

No - the two Camp Caseys are the anti-war, anti-American, terrorist supporting nut jobs associated with the witch in the ditch. A second "camp" has been set up 5 miles down the road.

"A patriotic camp with a "God Bless Our President!" banner sprung up downtown Saturday, countering the anti-war demonstration ..."

"The camp is named "Fort Qualls," in memory of Marine Lance Cpl. Louis Wayne Qualls, 20, who died in Iraq last fall."

Hope this helps.

Makes me think of when those hippies came up missing. Don't piss off people with lots of guns, backhoes and thousands of acres.

Hang on! Remember: Innocent until proven guilty. This is one of our more precious protections. That's one of the thing that makes it great to be an American.

Before we all go getting ourselves worked up into a fit, let's wait for some more information. Could be a lot of things. Could be a liberal. Could be someone trying to get 'em in trouble. Could be a hoax. Could be some bored teenager. The point is we oughta not jump to conclusions.

I'd believe a lot of things about Sheehan. But she doesn't strike me as the type to kill.

I was born and raised 20 miles from Crawford and my heart goes out to the people who live in and around there for having to put up with this BS.The jets that guard the Presidents ranch make a turn right over my grandmother's house. Maybe they could do a strafing run over Camp Pinko just to watch them scatter.LOL
