Bomb Threat in Crawford
Powerline ^
Posted on 08/21/2005 2:05:39 PM PDT by Republican Red
Our correspondent Gene Allen reports that just a few minutes ago, an unidentified man telephoned the Yellow Rose Gift Shop in Crawford, Texas and said, "Your shop is going up in smoke, you better get out now." Law enforcement is on the scene.
Gene describes the Yellow Rose as "a pro-Bush gift shop with a Ten Commandments monument out front. It is located across the street from the Coffee Station, down the street from the Crawford Peace House."
I don't suppose any of those peace-loving folks would have anything to do with a bomb threat.

From the link you provided:
but there are two (count em two!) Camp Caseys that now reach out and around the vacation home of the President of the USA, supporting a peace movement that the mainstream media are having a difficult time hiding.
Hiding it????? They are not trying to hide it. They are promoting it!

Yes, they were. People who think they were all "peace and love" either were too young to have seen what they did, or else believed what the MSM of the time told them--or both. Not all of them, but some of them, didn't think twice about lobbing a brick or a rock at a policeman--or anyone who disagreed with them, really.

It's a pity President Bush could not enjoy (as much as he could) his vacation in Crawford without this homely woman spouting insanity. God Bless her son.

Ah yes, terrible 1960s memories.....Hippie threats to put LSD in the water supply....Yippies pouring blood over windows and desks of ROTC offices.....anarcists throwing bags of urine/feces at anyone in a uniform.

There is, and always has been, an undercurrent in the far-left, anti-war, anti-American movement that is violent. Give our peace a chance...or we will blow you up and slaughter you. Shouldn't that be anti-"war"? They're all for leftist revolutions, the Clinton Balkans adventures, and were all set to invade Haiti to reinstall one of their own.

Seems to me I read a post about the owner of this flower shop, and his plans to have a pro troops rally in the vacant lot next store, but I could be wrong.

Time to make them pack up and go home, and put the threat level in Crawford up a notch. The good people there, don't need this. And NO threats should even be suggested in such close proximity to our President!! EVER

Stop the war or we will kill you in the name of peace.. sounds familiar. ..and it should, their other mantra is "We will kill babies in the name of choice."
They aren't anti-war, they're anti-American, anti-capitalist, and anti-freedom.

Hey, thanks for the shopping link!
Personally, I hope that this call is traced to the Crawford Peace House, which can be shut down as a common nuisance. Without a place to coordinate, the ditch people will have a hard time setting up their interviews and such.
