It was the first opportunity of the season to get your date out of the dorm (The game was in Dallas) and away for a weekend of drunken debauchery.

Here in MA we used to have the Boston Garden, aka the garden, they tore it down and built the "fleet center" which has now changed names again, us die hards still call it the garden, old habits never die and like us these people will still refer to it as the shootout, I wish the PC bunch would just hang themselves, literally, kinda like Jonestown and the cool aid - mass suicide.

My dream is to someday form my own professional sports team. The name would be "The (fill in city here)Indian Demon Devil Bullet Pirates" I hate PC. Just a quick story about this same thing that is ridiculous to the extreme. A couple of years ago, Nebraska Wesleyan University changed their sports mascot from the "Plainsmen" to the "Coyotes" because, get this, "PlainsMEN" seemed un PC because it excluded women. (and Im guessing that "Plainspersons" would not fit on the uniforms) PC=insanity. It will be the death of the US.
