Back in the day, students at Texas University simply called it "OU Weekend".

It was the first opportunity of the season to get your date out of the dorm (The game was in Dallas) and away for a weekend of drunken debauchery.

I hear some people also went to the game.

Or the saddest weekend in Texas.
