NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN

The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts’ young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his father’s Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldn’t stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josie’s and Jack’s mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES’ plans declared: “Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts’ family like this is despicable. Children’s lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.”
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. “This can’t possibly be true?”

The key word is "upperclass". Whites in Latin America tend to be in the upperclass, so how many white Latin American babies end up in an orphanages unwanted by their fellow countrymen? Healthy white infants are in high demand in the U.S.- if there was a surplus of adoptable white Latin American children, you would hear about couples adopting from Argentina, Chile, southern Brazil, etc. a lot more often. I know that there are quite a few Europeans in South America, but the majority of people are still mestizo.
Of course, as many have stated above, we are speculating based on the hair color of children, which could very well change over time.

I don't think that the Roberts were trying to hide the fact that the children are adopted, given that it has been talked out since day one by both his supporters and detractors.
Being adopted is nothing to be ashamed of, or some dirty secret- those kids and the Roberts are very blessed to have one another. Many couples adopt children who are not the same race as themselves or who clearly look different from them, and no one talks about how they were "robbed of their childhood" because everyone can tell instantly that they were adopted.

A few years ago ,the hot place to adopt children was Ecuador.Like all of South America, Ecuador has children of all skin tones and races.The leftist rag in the area did a hit piece in which gringos were accused of adopting the children so they could steal the kidneys.After this , an American women who trying to adopt a child was nearly beaten to death.
It's just easier to adopt children from the Chinese.
