NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN
**Exclusive**
The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his fathers Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldnt stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josies and Jacks mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES plans declared: Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts family like this is despicable. Childrens lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. This cant possibly be true?
Developing...
Surely not...never mind, you are right. We are talking about liberals, after all.
Which editor sicced this mad dog on to the children, "The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice"!

I was not referring to Roberts being racial. I'm just referring to private agencies in Latin America (not all but some). A lot of people are not aware of the color complex they have in Latin America. Roberts may have went in with a pure heart (I'm sure he did) but many private international agencies are catering to foreign needs and wants, and not just for white babies either. Most are for profit charging thousands to desperate couples. I imagine that couples looking for white babies get scammed more than everyone else. Sorry for the confusion but I was definately not trying to paint Roberts as a racist.
Told you so.
Oh come on!!! They are little kids dressed like little kids for crying out loud!! What should they have worn?? A leather halter top and leather chaps?
I thought they looked absolutely adorable.
I don't think that she was accusing Roberts of racial bias, but merely pointing the facts that healthy white babies are in high demand among adoptive couples. The waiting list for white infants in the U.S. is very long. Latin Americans are ten times more obsessed with light skin and European features, babies like the Roberts children would be in extremely high demand among well-to-do Latin American couples.
I am not confused. I was just laughing because I don't disagreee with livius.
Yup, I can't stomach DU either. They have a vocabulary of about 50 words, the minority of which aren't profanity.
did they ever do an autopsy on mary Jo Kopeckne to see if she was pregnant?
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
And most of those babes's hair color is as authentic as their breasts. Not that I am complaining :D
Yep .. That's how I found out about my one friend being a blonde when he was little .. it was white blonde like Jack's
It totally blew us away because his hair is jet black now
So did I.
It was nice to see people dressed for the occassion.
It showed respect.
He has the cutest kids. Roberts had to know this was coming. This is the risk you take in this day and age.
Which is the angle the Times is going to be looking at. You and I know that. How'd a Yank pull of an adoption while plenty of light skinned wealthy Latin American couples are probably still on a waiting list. The answer is either a) John Roberts is a lot wealthier or b) The kids are from third country.
yes thanks for clearing that up... I'm pretty good at making people confused donna ;o)
