Yes, there are a lot of kids' outfits that have kind of a retro look to them; I remember one my son had that had kind of an old-world German look to it. The libs are taking nitpicking to new heights, or lows, depending on how you look at it.

The kids wore the same type of clothes that my mother dressed her kids in and that I dressed my kids in when they were little

What did John Edwards' kids wear last year? I don't remember, except for the older daughter who gave a speech at the Dem convention, wearing a Jackie Kennedy style sheath and fence-climber (low, stacked) heels.
