How the heck does Boxer know what an "extraordinary circumstance" is? She's not even a part of the group of 14 senators that drafted the language!!

For who...the liberal loons who are and continuing to destroy America and her values. 80% of level minded thinking Americans want the courts to stop making laws that continue to destroy all our value systems. The list goes on...one day OUR LORD will step in and stop it...and we'll say: HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN...

This Donk bullshit is all designed to get GWBush to name a damn moderate/liberal to the Supreme Court so that Senators can avoid a nasty fight. Republican Senators are too cowardly to mix it up with the Barbra Boxer types and the Donks in general.
DONK strategy is to hold out and obstruct the Bush Judicial appointments until Hillary gets the White House.

Boxer wasn't part of the group that forged the filibuster compromise. She can have her opinion, but it is by no means that of Joe Lieberman, Ben Nelson, et al. So this in no way means that the original compromisors will participate in a filibuster.

I don't think either Boxer or other senate Dems believe they can win this one. She's just playing to the kook base, whose only concern is to oppose anything/everything Bush puts forward.

She was never part of that group of 14 anyway...she'd filibuster even a moderate nomination...
To: dennisw
There's only one answer: Hillary is the nominee.
