Title says it. What are your thoughts? I voted that Durbin ought to be removed from office but I doubt that they will do more than talk a lot.

Nothing. I agree with Rush -- I don't even want an apology from him (it would be meaningless anyway). Let him stand behind his words and let the Republicans bring them up at every possible opportunity. He IS the Democrat Party -- make him eat those words by reminding America of them every chance we get.

Then let the voters of Illinois decide if they want to keep such a person as their representative of their state in the Senate.

The only republican with some what of a spine is George Allen and even he is holding back out of fear. The senate will do nothing at all and America will be destroyed from within. I truly believe this country is terminally ill with a liberal cancer. I don't hold out much hope for the future of this country. As I have said, you can trace the point that government really got of control to the day the last state appointed senator left the Senate after the 17th Amendment was passed.
