Title says it. What are your thoughts? I voted that Durbin ought to be removed from office but I doubt that they will do more than talk a lot.

He should be thrown out of the Senate.
And when I say thrown out, I mean the Sgt. at Arms gets three other guys and they toss him down the Capitol steps.
Live on TV of course.

Durbin should be kicked out of the senate. Won't happen though.

Nothing. I agree with Rush -- I don't even want an apology from him (it would be meaningless anyway). Let him stand behind his words and let the Republicans bring them up at every possible opportunity. He IS the Democrat Party -- make him eat those words by reminding America of them every chance we get.

Put energies into censuring durbin, for his outrageous slander towards the good and brave Americans fighting the WOT.
Then let the voters of Illinois decide if they want to keep such a person as their representative of their state in the Senate.

Agreed! Let him stay and we can express our opinion at the ballot bax to all of the Democrats in the Senate in 2006.

Official Senate censure.
And hopefully the people of my native state will kick him out the next time he's up for re-election.

I'd love to see that, but you know the wimps in the senate won't do it.
I think an on the record censure would be neat, but you know the wimps in the senate won't do it. The small letter in the word senate is on purpose. Those bottom feeders don't deserve any respect.

He should be required to get Barney Frank's morning coffee for a month. Although, for a fairy like durbin, he would probably enjoy that, so forget that idea.

Rush is right on this one. Just keep Durbin's comments in the forefront of people's minds...this thing will be self-correcting in the end. The Dick is a buffoon.

The only republican with some what of a spine is George Allen and even he is holding back out of fear. The senate will do nothing at all and America will be destroyed from within. I truly believe this country is terminally ill with a liberal cancer. I don't hold out much hope for the future of this country. Maybe we should burn the house down to rid it of the rats, and rebuild from the ashes.

Your spot on - and no doubt Howard Dean will pile on soon if he didn't already. Weren't they together at a fund raiser yesterday? Maybe Rush will have some fresh material today.

As I have said, you can trace the point that government really got of control to the day the last state appointed senator left the Senate after the 17th Amendment was passed.
Repeal the 17th Amendment!

Rush refuses to believe that the left controls the public mind, they hear only what the NY elite media wants them to.
