Nothing. I agree with Rush -- I don't even want an apology from him (it would be meaningless anyway). Let him stand behind his words and let the Republicans bring them up at every possible opportunity. He IS the Democrat Party -- make him eat those words by reminding America of them every chance we get.
Agreed! Let him stay and we can express our opinion at the ballot bax to all of the Democrats in the Senate in 2006.
Rush is right on this one. Just keep Durbin's comments in the forefront of people's minds...this thing will be self-correcting in the end. The Dick is a buffoon.
Your spot on - and no doubt Howard Dean will pile on soon if he didn't already. Weren't they together at a fund raiser yesterday? Maybe Rush will have some fresh material today.
It just makes me sick to see what has happened to the conservative Democrats of the South. They are becoming so Liberal drinking all this Liberal kook-aid. But then again, when we moved to S. Texas in 1973 everyone we met was Conservative Democrat. Once the KOOKS took over their party most of them converted to our side. Now Texas is majorly Republican. I wonder if the Liberals will wake up and notice this before their party stops being a National Party!
Normally I agree with Rush, however this time I don't. If the public lets this drop it will become the norm on the floor. I think Rush is saying leave it alone simply because he believes the Republicans don't have the guts to do anything. If you don't expect results you can't be disappointed. He's right without a lot of public outcry the Republicans will not do anything.
I agree, let them keep digging.
