A Muslim can never think of even touching the Holy Qur'an if not clean; whereas to hear such a heinous crime committed by the perpetrators at Gunatanamo Bay. An ordinary Christian or Jew cannot commit this act.

Only one example (1) narrated by a prisoner released from Guantanamo Bay should be enough to paint the true picture of the profanities used by the interrogators. “Wisam Abd al-Rahman Ahmad said he was captured in Iran, transferred to a Kandahar detention facility in Afghanistan, and finally imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay.

Claiming he was beaten and routinely insulted with profanities while in Afghanistan, Ahmad said that US soldiers tried to "break" him using psychological warfare. "They stripped me naked with a bag over my head. One of the soldiers turned me around, removed the bag and I saw a female soldier looking at me," he said. "They knew that it is an insult to our religion to appear thus before women," he said.

Dr. Condoleezza Rice condemned this cowardly act by the interrogators at Guantanamo Bay to break the impasse and resolve of the Muslim brothers, illegally detained in these neo-Nazi style concentration camps.

However, a detained Muslim in Guantanamo Bay has absolutely no problem flushing pages of the Koran down a toilet. I wonder how good a Muslim he would be considered by the imams. Perhaps the fact that he has actively tried to kill Americans makes up for his flushing activities.

Several years ago I purchased an English language edition of the Koran.
Twice, I've tried to read it, but found the parts I could understand were unpersuasive; the rest was incomprehensible and full of gibberish.
In fact the only other book I've found to equal the Koran as nonsense is Mein Kampf.
The Koran rests in my bookshelf, unread and never to be opened.
I do not intend to "dishonor" the Koran, but if I did, its my business and not Secretary Rice's.

I think it is a reasonable deduction that if you are a a bearded fanatic who was caught while shooting at US and allied troops, you may end up wearing a orange jumpsuit and get a occasional butt whipping.

It's not as if our troops are catching random civilians and beheading them on camera...
