We know they fight without uniforms. We know they shoot at soldiers while hiding behind women and children. We know they've been instructed to make up lies about how they have been tortured.

We know they use the Red Crescent Marked Vehicles to transport weapons and ammunition We Know they turn GHC protected sites into arms depots and fighting positions We know they have no clearly visible and discernible rank structure We know they seldom carry their arms openly
In fact there is not a single point of the GHC that they obey that would grant them any protected status. They are terrorist criminals and totally not worthy of GHC protection.
