Jane Fonda's book tour
Swiftvets and POWs for Truth website ^ | Tue Apr 12, 2005 | Terry Boone

Posted on 04/20/2005 7:15:10 PM PDT by Chieftain

Dear Everyone,

We were able just today to get the itinerary for Jane Fonda's book signing tour. We are encouraging all Vietnam Veterans and their family, as well as all concerned Americans, to protest her signings.

This is Operation Street Corner, now used for another traitor, Jane Fonda. Watch the Operation Street Corner website for pictures and information about our protests (http://operationstreetcorner.com/). There is nothing posted yet, as we are getting the word out first to our email listservers.

Thank you so much for your time and help! I will be sending out additional information about Jane soon.

See Hanoi Jane's schedule below to find the time and location nearest you. She will be in Atlanta, GA tomorrow (April 12) and the next day.

- Amanda Doss

I never read so much about Fonda until I joined FreeRepublic. Is this her fan club or what? She certainly gets enough free publicity here to sell anything she wants.

.......Her "apology" consists of her being sorry for being photographed on the AA gun, and not for having cavorted with the enemy.........

Isn't that the most amazing thing about this........She apologizes for getting CAUGHT, not for the act itself.

And then says (in a vague manner), "I've apologized", which is repeated again and again by Larry King, Couric, Stahl, etc., etc., etc.: "She's apologized".

Crap. Pure unadulterated crap.

John Gibson did a good MY WORD segment on this. He said many feel that when she went over to the other side 40 years ago (and many feel she assisted in many of our servicemen being spit upon) that many continue to feel she is still on the other side, and against us.

Absolutely! And unless I am misreading this schedule, I notice she is keeping her traitorous ass well out of Mississippi, Alambama, Kentucky, Tennessee and the Carolinas. Also anywhere in Georgia but Atlanta. Guess the Whore from Hanoi (TM who thought that up!) doesn't think she'd get a warm welcome in the Deep South for the most part.

Oh, she'd get a warm welcome all right -- nice bright bonfires burning her traitorous ass in effigy.

I agree with much of what you both said. Certainly no
one who is rational would question the bravery and the
sacrifice of the 58,000 Americans who died in VietNam
or the many more who experienced physical and psychological
injury. All I am contending is that there comes a time
to stop fighting yesterday's battles. It was, after all,
the great liberal LBJ who lied our way into this war with
his phony "Gulf of Tonkin Resolution". I realize that it's
not easy for those who were directly involved in this war
and those difficult times to forgive and forget. But at
some point we must move on. Forgive the history lesson
but the American Civil War cost 620,000 lives between
1861-65 when the population of the country was only about
40 million. It ravaged the South and greatly affected
the politics and culture of the North. Probably the
greatest President - Lincoln - saw his primary responsibility as healer and peacemaker and in the short
time before his assassination he spoke in terms of
a peace characterized by "malice towards none". He certainly knew that these hatreds and animosities of the
past would not be short-lived. But it was his message
and spirit of reconciliation that preserved the Union --
not the War and its horrible cost -- in the long term.
I think we do ourselves and the highest military tradition
a disservice if we continue to impugn the motives and
character of those who disagreed with us 35 or more years
ago. Some things should not be forgot but they should be
placed in historical context. To refuse to move on is
only to perpetuate a dissension that serves no positive
purpose.

To a great extent...I agree.

But...(there is always one of those it seems)...the battle against Fonda has never been fought.

When the Vietnam War was over...(except of course for all of those millions who died..i.e. murdered...because we left)...no one wanted to actually discuss it...to work out the problems that arose BECAUSE of people like Fonda and Kerry.

This last election is the very first time that this Nation has really started to discuss the war...and perhaps to heal.

The healing will NOT take place if we do not bring everything that happened to light (kinda like wounds).

Fonda and Kerry (and all the rest) activly worked to betray our Nation. They activly worked to have American sons killed.

It was treason....and deserves to be finally looked at...and dealt with.

We will not allow this treason to be swept under the rug one more time. It will be dealt with.

Uphold the US Constituion!

Too bad the "Move On" FReepers just don't understand
the real threat that the likes of Hanoi Kerry pose to our country.

I just don't understand their reasoning in saying
"drop it", "your wasting your time", "give it up" etc.

Some even howl when I remind them the job is NOT done.

If Nixon hadn't caved into the minority anti-war crowd

Vipers Vietnam Veterans Page, A Vietnam Veteran & Proud Web Site
About Vietnam

The Vietnam war was the longest in our nation's history.
1st American advisor was killed on June 08, 1956,

and the last casualties in connection with the war occurred on May 15, 1975, during the Mayaquez incident. Approximately 2.7 million Americans served in the war zone; 300,000 were wounded and approximately 75,000 permanently disabled. Officially there are still 1,991 Americans unaccounted for from SE Asia.

Vietnam was a savage, in your face war where death could and did strike from anywhere with absolutely no warning. The brave young men and women who fought that war paid an awful price of blood, pain and suffering. As it is said: "ALL GAVE SOME ... SOME GAVE ALL"
The Vietnam war was not lost on the battlefield. No American force in ANY other conflict fought with more determination or sheer courage than the Vietnam Veteran.  For the first time in our history America sent it's young men and women into a war run by inept politicians who had no grasp of military strategies and no moral will to win. They were led by "top brass" who were concerned mainly with furthering their own careers, most neither understood the nature of the war nor had a clue about the impossible mission with which they'd tasked their soldiers.  And the war was reported by a self serving Media who penned stories filled with inaccuracies, deliberate omissions, biased presentations and blatant distorted interpretations because they were more interested in a story than the truth! It can be debated that we should never have fought that war. It can also be argued that the young Americans who fought so courageously, never losing a single major battle, helped in a huge way to WIN THE COLD WAR.

i think jane is evil.

she caused men that were serving this country great misfortune and misery.

she aided our enemies.

she was a role model for the young of this country.

i hope jane gets her due someday.
