John Gibson did a good MY WORD segment on this. He said many feel that when she went over to the other side 40 years ago (and many feel she assisted in many of our servicemen being spit upon) that many continue to feel she is still on the other side, and against us.

Unfortunately I didn't see that. Also, I was born too late to know much more about her than that she dated Ted Turner.

But I can certainly empathize with those in the service who see her earlier actions as treason and will never forgive her.

The old police photo with her raised (and delicate) fist says it all, IMO.
