Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
What is the glimmer of hope?

Of course there won't be any murder charges. People get by with murder ever day so how is this any different? So, it got mass media coverage but so did OJ and he's walking around free. Hino, The Grim Greeper, and Whittle-more will all be walking around free as anything next week and no one will even attempt to touch them. Of course all evidence will have been cremated so just as with her wish to have plugs pulled is heresay then so will any evidence of abuse. Sadly, after a couple weeks there'll be very few who will remember her name and there will be another celebrity affair to take her place on the headlines.

That makes me so angry. When I got through to his office last night, I was told he was still working on it and to keep watching the news.

Last night the DemonRat Underground was popping popcorn and inviting people to "pull up a chair and watch the show" as Terri gets closer and closer to death. They think this will teach us smug "Jeebus freaks" (ack! I'm sorry for even typing that blasphemy, Lord) a much-needed lesson that they have control of the judiciary. It was sickening and filled with venomous hate, not just for Republicans but for Christians, pro-life, the Bushes, and people who have joined together to beg for mercy for Terri. This country is filled with the most despicable characters, and this horrific experience is shining an enormous spotlight on these cockroaches.

I just read the latest denial by the judge. Why didn't Gibbs bring up the new evidence by DCFS? Or did he and it was ignored? Mostly he says it's Michael and Greer killing Terri, depriving her of her rights, not the government so no harm, no foul. Amazing.....and terribly sad
I intend it be be a litmous test for me. Organizations that actively support Terri and Life will get my future donations.. Those that have not will never get a thin dime from me. This is truly a division of the sheep from the goats. Some of the masks have come off and they look extreemly ugly.
The Schindlers have apparently filed one last appeal based on Whittemore's ruling. That would be their one last chance (barring the governor or DCF intervening).
Heeeey... what about us older parents who started late and can officially be classified as "old farts"?... :-)
And I have gotten slammed so many times on other threads for daring to speak a discourteous word against any Law enforcement.. These police are no better than Nazis "only following orders"...
