I just read the latest denial by the judge. Why didn't Gibbs bring up the new evidence by DCFS? Or did he and it was ignored? Mostly he says it's Michael and Greer killing Terri, depriving her of her rights, not the government so no harm, no foul. Amazing.....and terribly sad

I haven't read it yet, but it's appalling if that material wasn't presented. News clips I've heard indicate Whittemore didn't like some of Gibbs' terminology (eg. murder). For Terri's sake, HE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED TO HIS AUDIENCE!
Gibbs needed to give Greer a chance to save face. Here's how he could have done it:
"Your honor, one of the difficulties in this case has been that, for various reasons, my client has been unable to discover evidence within the normal statutory timeframes for admitting it. Consequently, Greer has disallowed such evidence when making his decisions. Even though Greer was unable to consider such evidence, you would be under no such restriction and would found that it showed without a doubt that my client's posisition was correct."
