Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

Terri was moved into Pinellas County when she left the Largo nursing home. I believe Largo is in Hillsbourgh County. Into Pinellas county and Greer's courtroom. That was part of the plan too.
No, Largo is in Pinellas County. Clearwater is where Greer's courtroom is, and Clearwater is also in Pinellas County.

To anyone who cares,
I have left the GOP, pending the Governor of Florida and/or the President of the United States acting according to their sworn oaths to uphold our constitutions and to preserve innocent human life by simply giving Terri Schiavo a drink of water.
I hope and pray fervently that the Governor and/or the President and their political advisors make my decision moot by acting to save this dying American citizen today.
Those who won't act to prevent a murder in progress, when they have the power to do so, deserves no patriotic American's political support ever again.
Feel free to pass this news along to anyone in any way you feel would be appropriate.

I think it's obvious to those in the know, that Felos (felon) is demonized pretty thoroughly. Scripture says... they that love death, hate Me..(God Speaking), Proverbs, not sure of citation ....
Understanding that, there is nothing left to say, except how long will it take your casual american to know what's going on, here?
It is outright rebellion against God that makes people refuse to accept any kind of suffering in their lives, and desire to be their own "god" and determine their ultimate
fates......Until that changes, I think things will get worse.

I fully intend to do an article about who dropped the ball. Terri should have been removed and placed in safe keeping days ago and the provisions exist in the law and Constitution to do so.
Yep...from affidavits of witnesses not found to be credible, based on their changed stories, inconsistencies, etc.
Secondly, this isn't about "could she physically swallow it if we jammed something in there..."; it's about whether she'd want her body to be kept alive in this state.

Thank you for respecting Mrs. Schiavo's right to refuse medical care, as well as the foundations of our country. It would be wholly inappropriate for a federal or state executive to interfere in the local matters as long as due process has been followed. Review has shown that due process has been followed--indeed, it was found that Mrs. Schiavo has perhaps received more than due process--and it is well that she may finally find peace.
I phoned the Republican Party at 202-863-8500, and left a message on their answering machine saying that I am a registered Republican for only two years and I am not impressed.
We have contributed to them in the past, but from now on when we received solicitations in the mail, we will say "now way" and tell them WHY.
IT MUST SUCK TO BE YOU TODAY.
What's that? Greer is disabled and dependent on others??!! He had better be careful some judge doesn't pull his life support based on his poor quality of life.

Michael Schiavo is a sadist who euthanized Terri's two cats, and far worse, admitted on the Larry King show that he had his parents starved to death when they were sick with cancer, etc., and abused Terri before the collapse, and continues to abuse her.
He won't allow her to have therapy to talk (she can say a few words), he won't allow her to have therapy to swallow better (she CAN swallow soft foods), he turns her family's pictures around in her room, won't allow her to go outside for some fresh air, won't allow sunlight in her room, won't allow her see the cute little dogs that are brought around to cheer patients, won't allow her teeth to be brushed, etc.
Michael Schiavo, Terri's estranged husband, melted down her wedding ring in order to make jewelry for himself.
He also killed her beloved cats, even after Terri's parents offered to take care of them.

As Florida’s Department of Children and Families headed to the Florida Supreme Court to appeal the ruling of Pinellas County probate court judge George W. Greer’s interference in their statutory mandated duties, further evidence of abuse and possible attempted murder of Terri Schiavo has come to the forefront.

CALLER: Yes. Does it bother you that the death is so slow? Maybe Dr. Kevorkian-style would be a faster, more peaceful way?
SCHIAVO: Removing somebody's feeding is very painless. It is a very easy way to die. Probably the second better way to die, being the first being an aneurysm.
And it doesn't bother me at all. I've seen it happen.
