Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
I have no idea where pin-head-a$$ county is in Florida.
Reprobate:

1. Morally unprincipled; shameless.
I wonder if Scoop knows if the governors office is accessing the Empire Journal like she knows that Greers office does.?
It is in Clearwater. Look on that map and find Tampa. Look to the left of Tampa where there is a little "finger" hanging out off of Florida. That is where Pinellas is.
Have you read this article?

Bush signed the 1999 law that allows removal of hydration and nutrition for the severely disabled. Now he won't rescue Terri because his action would be at odds with that law even though Terri never gave her consent to be dehydrated and starved. The only way Bush could have gotten out of this one was to resign as governor and let Mrs. Jennings rescue Terri: unless she too had a conflict-of-interest that the euthanasia crowd could exploit.
So there we have it: Jeb has a conflict of interest because he signed the FL euthanasia law! And he would be hammered by the mainstream media were he to have intervened. Sorri, Terri, too bad your company transferred you to "glamorous" FL. Jeb never had the slightest intention to intervene. The Wednesday stuff was a temporary ruse, or he got cold feet and went back to his original plan.
I read at one time (and I cannot remember the source and may be in error) that the late Prescott Bush, R-CT, the governor's grandfather, was active in the eugenics movement of the 1940s. It might take hours to run that information down.
I think that the biggest point that we can get across to Jeb is that *WE* KNOW. The corruption is being revealed, and we know about it, and we know about his responsibility to stop it.
That was my whole point when I called his office. We know, and we'll always know. And this will haunt him for the rest of his life.
He can run, but he won't be able to hide.
{{{tuckrdout}}} We will keep praying for your daughter! You are 100% correct! Everything IS in the Lord's hands!!! God is in control!

We don't know how Terri's story will end, but neither did the disciples know how Christ's story would begin when He rose from the dead.
Will the Son of Man find any faith on the earth when He returns?
can a attorney ASK for a certain Judge??
When asked if he had a living will, he said "No, I have a Will to Live."
Fox News' Brian Wilson had a guest on the last hour or so, talking about the importance of medical directives for everyone. He recommended everyone to go to his site: www.caringinfo.org.
I feel Fox was remiss in not seeking and presenting further clarification, as there should definitely have been an appropriate disclosure presented in this segment. He said you could go to this site and download the form, then fill it out, have two non-family members witness it, and make multiple copies for your family and in a special place in your home, so that if you're rushed to the ER, that document MUST go with you.
Brian asked, "You mean you could just download the form, print it out, and have 2 of your neighbors witness it and that's it? The man answered, "Yes." But when you go to this URL, you are transferred to the real site: The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice Foundation.
The site explains hospice care, and when you go to the link to medical directive information, it misleads you by saying "download your state information," but when you click on that, you are taken to a form that you must execute to email back. NO -- that's not easily downloading a form as he specifically stated, and I expect you'll surely hear back from someone and get on some list.
Not reading nor interested in requesting their form, I don't know if would suffice in the case of an illness or accident requiring admission to the ER in a severe medical crisis, where you should have made your loved ones aware of your wishes.
National Right to Life has the "Will to Live" information and documents for the states completed thus far.
National Right to Life Will to Live
They have a complete page devoted to Saving Terri Schindler Schiavo
" We are not giving up. We continue to work closely with the Schindler family and their attorneys, exploring all possible options to save Terri.
Everyone can help. One of the most important obstacles to saving Terris life is the public misinformation. Please help to correct this.
1. Inform yourself about the facts (see below).
2. Monitor your local media. If you see or hear misinformation, call to correct it immediately, even if it takes repeated calls for them to get it right. Be polite, calm, and factual, but be persistent!
3. Get out the facts and promote accurate understanding by calling talk radio.
4. Please continue to pray for Terri, for the Schindler family, and for the minds and hearts of those who control her fate to be opened and enlightened."
Many links follow at that site.
God bless Terri and her family mightily with mercy. May the angels surround her every moment. Please keep praying.
OMG! Agony for you!
"can a attorney ASK for a certain Judge??"
Laws can vary from state to state, in California it is thus:
An attorney can refuse a judge the first time they are before him/her and they will be assigned a new one which they must accept.
But attorneys cannot ask for a specific judge.
amen!
LOL! It's in your power! Unplug the TV. I have! :o)
That's right "pull the plug" on the TV. Time to take the TV off the "artificial life support" of electricity, and "just let it go naturally." You'll feel very "peaceful and euphoric."
I hope scoop stays on this. She really seems to hate dishonest judges.
But Felos made sure Greer was well funded to be re-elected.
