As our hearts break for Terri and we continue to pray unceasingly for her, her anguished parents and siblings, and her legal warriors .. when you can .. take a minute to consider something that Bobby Schindler mentioned earlier this week.

When asked if he had a living will, he said "No, I have a Will to Live."

Fox News' Brian Wilson had a guest on the last hour or so, talking about the importance of medical directives for everyone. He recommended everyone to go to his site: www.caringinfo.org.

I feel Fox was remiss in not seeking and presenting further clarification, as there should definitely have been an appropriate disclosure presented in this segment. He said you could go to this site and download the form, then fill it out, have two non-family members witness it, and make multiple copies for your family and in a special place in your home, so that if you're rushed to the ER, that document MUST go with you.

Brian asked, "You mean you could just download the form, print it out, and have 2 of your neighbors witness it and that's it? The man answered, "Yes." But when you go to this URL, you are transferred to the real site: The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice Foundation.

The site explains hospice care, and when you go to the link to medical directive information, it misleads you by saying "download your state information," but when you click on that, you are taken to a form that you must execute to email back. NO -- that's not easily downloading a form as he specifically stated, and I expect you'll surely hear back from someone and get on some list.

Not reading nor interested in requesting their form, I don't know if would suffice in the case of an illness or accident requiring admission to the ER in a severe medical crisis, where you should have made your loved ones aware of your wishes.

National Right to Life has the "Will to Live" information and documents for the states completed thus far.

National Right to Life Will to Live

They have a complete page devoted to Saving Terri Schindler Schiavo

" We are not giving up. We continue to work closely with the Schindler family and their attorneys, exploring all possible options to save Terri.

Everyone can help. One of the most important obstacles to saving Terri’s life is the public misinformation. Please help to correct this.

1. Inform yourself about the facts (see below).

2. Monitor your local media. If you see or hear misinformation, call to correct it immediately, even if it takes repeated calls for them to get it right. Be polite, calm, and factual, but be persistent!

3. Get out the facts and promote accurate understanding by calling talk radio.

4. Please continue to pray for Terri, for the Schindler family, and for the minds and hearts of those who control her fate to be opened and enlightened."

Many links follow at that site.

God bless Terri and her family mightily with mercy. May the angels surround her every moment. Please keep praying.

Let me guess. Unless we specifically put it in writing that we want to live, we will be killed at another's discretion. Lovely.

You might want that post deleted. I believe Brian Wilson is John Wilson's son. John Wilson is also a news reporter and I saw him give an editorial against Terri. I saw and heard him when he did it. I get a bad taste in my mouth now everytime I see John Wilson on T.V.

You can google it if you want too but I'm not giving any hits to Brian Wilson's site.

I could convince my older grandchildren to do that, but what about the two little ones and the one on the way? Who speaks for them? There have been cases recently where the courts have ruled against parents who wanted their children to live. I am sick.
