Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Not only the World... but God is calling them to act. Jeb especially needs to answer God's call. Jeb is being tapped on the shoulder big time.
OMG! I've never seen that. I see Gondring has no reply to this.
True. He waited until AFTER 12:00 just to spite Terri.
It's perfectly relevant. You just wish it weren't.
I said: "If she is able to feed herself, and wants to..."
One of your conditions for being deserving of life is that a person be able to feed themselves?
I will not watch him. I care nothing of what he has to say.
The thing is, if he is worried about his political career and that is why he is not responding, he is pretty stupid. Because if he knows God, he should know that if he steps out in faith to help another, that God would bless him tremendously for his sacrifice (presidency).
Yes, and we will wait in vain. Satan has won, as I feared he would. I expected this in the fall of 2003, when the FL appeals judges declared the first Terri's Law "presumtively unconstitutional" without hearing any evidence. I bet the Schindlers wish they had never moved to FL, but does anyone know how many other states there are in which this could have happened?
I wonder what you'd say if they put a swastika up and she smiled at that, too (which she would).
If I selectively presented data like the Schindler's video clips do, I'd lose my professional license as a scientist. Her behaviour is consistent with a diagnosis of PVS...including smiles, grimaces, cries, brief object tracking, response to external stimuli, etc. That doesn't mean there's any cognition left.
I suppose you let your emotions take you away and would consider a mass-murderer "cute" if he smiled at you. And heck, "how can you steal the rights from someone who smiles at you?" is a more relevant question.
Proposed new tagline: "If you take cow-pasture bingo as a sign from heaven, you just might be a Schindler supporter."
and...I'm looking for the transcript/video clip of Mr. Schindler grabbing her face and being verbally abusive. Anyone know where I can get it?
After Hugh Finn, I haven't been thrilled with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I know. It's shocking. Since when is it legal to deny food by mouth?
Done.
Monsignor Malanowksi was threatened with arrest if he attemps to give Terri Holy Communion. Monsignor has been visiting Terri every day since her feeding tube was removed on March 18. Several days ago, as he was praying with Terri, the cop in Terri's room advised monsignor that he will be arrested if he goes near Terri's mouth.
Oh, no doubt.
I'm trying to guess which freeper will start the 1st victory thread after Terri dies. My list of candidates is growing, sad to say. Posters that I have greatly admired over the years have stunned me with their lack of compassion.
And posters that I have disagreed with totally in the past, have proven to be the most caring. Quite an eye opener. And proof that I need to be more open to others opinions.
But on the question of life, I will never bend.
I would imagine that the Schindlers paid for a Catholic church wedding in PA in 1984.
"When the same people go to court to re-hash an issue that has already been 'decided' and appealed, the first judge should be recused and a new Judge should hear the case. The same "biased," "corrupt," or "mentally impaired" judge should NOT be making all the rulings."
Agreed.
The Nazis had their job to do too... once again..and this is for those very very few who still don't get it....
The revoluntionary war: illegal
Rosa Parks decision to sit at the front of the bus: illegal
Conentration camps in Hitler's Germany: LEGAL
Mengele's experiments on children: LEGAL
any law that is in direct conflict with God's laws are invalid. simple as that.. you cannot serve two masters..
God or man.. pick one.
"Anything that you do to the least of these, you do to Me."
