Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
That is odd, because after I first read that article, my computer crashed and I had to reboot.
Amen
And didn't W say it was better to err on the side of life? Are you listening Jeb, or W why not follow your own advice?
You heard it too! I'm SO glad that you felt it.
(At least now I know I'm not going out of my mind)
Amen!
Do you need prayer too?
great one Phil!
Now I know that some of you will not agree with me. Maybe it's because I'm a redneck from Ga. Or maybe it's because I believe in "An eye for an eye". But if I was Terri's father the whole thing would have been settled before now.
Though I'm not advocating violence for someone else, this is what I would have done.I would have gotten her husband to his self before this circus began and told him that if my little girls dies from starvation you can best beleive that you will not be far behind. After all, what does he have to lose. How many of us would not give our lives for our children.
I think that's the only kind of reasoning that Micheal would understand. I will proably get this deleted.
So flame away.
very weird.
All of us need prayer. Including you.
I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of those who CLAIM to be be praying FOR someone while expressing condemnation and contempt for them at the same time.
It's revolting.
sweetie, we aren't some elite club here.. we don't care who is from what part of the country.. my own father in law has been expressing just what you're saying.. no flame from me.. but you'd better watch out because a lot of jerks have been complaining to the mods...
ok.. if you can't come in and be nice.. don't come in,,K? the only one being judgmental here is you.
Exactly...if Jeb and GWB are the Christians they say they are, they defintely should step up to the plate now, NO MATTER WHAT! Because when you step out in faith God will be there to make sure it is ok. Here Jesus is saying to them..."come" and they are afraid to walk on the water for fear of drowning...oh ye of little faith.
Heh. Probably time to get some shut eye.
I agree with your idea of contacting the Media about Terri speaking to Barbara Weller.
ARE YOU GUYS AWARE OF THE LIVE FEED ON FRIDAY, WHEN BARBARA WELLA TOLD THE STORY OF TERRI SPEAKING TO HER??
I SAW IT ONCE ON FRIDAY, March 18, 2005. It was either FOX or MSNBC.
Question to Scoop or anyone - I wonder if a copy of the video can be requested from the networks.
I watched Johnathan Turley of George Washington University. He almost implied, it wasn't a real story, due to when it was presented to Judge Greer. He said if it was true, why wasn't it brought up on Friday.
There's so much evidence of Terri speaking in her medical record, perhaps that's why it wasn't presented earlier. I just can't believe that Terri's abilities have been hidden under a rock, due to Greer's reluctance to accept the facts.
I'm right now watching Gibbs on the replay of Larry King Live. He is telling them, about Terri saying she wanted to LIVE!! Also, told King the police officers heard Terri too.
Why not subpoena the Police Officers who heard Terri speak on March 18, 2005, prior to getting her Feeding Tube removed.
Basically the only two reasons Greer used to Execute Terri are the following.
1. She wanted to die (according greer)
2. She is PVS (Mayo Clinic Doctor says NO)
This is ridiculous. It really is like they just want Terri to Die - regardless of the evidence. It's INSANITY!!
They are a pitiful lot. When it comes to taking action, they don't follow through.
"Here Jesus is saying to them..."come" and they are afraid to walk on the water for fear of drowning...oh ye of little faith."
great analogy..
