Here's a way Jeb Bush may be able to save Terry Schiavo: Open an investigation into the possible assault that led to her comatose condition. Have the state pay for her maintenance to "preserve the evidence" and pay for language therapy for her so she can tell us what she knows about how she got into the coma. It struck me that the reason her husband wants her dead might be because he's afraid of what she'll say if she recovers. I don't see how a judge could possibly deny the state the right to preserve evidence of a serious assault.
Hope she's not dead yet.
CHUCKLES RESPONDED: "If that is the only qualifier for feeding, lets starve all the Democrat's!"
I had a similar thought.
I think middie has left us.....
Not one dime as far as anybody knows. I believe that is a violation of FL statute 744.3215C.and 744.3215 (i) for the legal whizzes.
The only thing is, though, that's not true.
Some minds are already made up.....
Sad when people who want to base arguments upon "logic" and "facts" just don't want to face the facts....
Well
Back to Doing what I can to get those that BELIEVE in saving Terri to actually ACT to SAVE TERRI.....
She was ecstatic about life and her surroundings. As she went by she shouted joyful words celebrating the fact she had just won a stuffed animal. I waved and smiled back. I thought, "My God that could be Terri Schiavo." The woman spoke much the way Terri would speak if she had therapy.
It prompted to think about all the summers since Michael had given up on Terri that she could have been at the beach and many other places, with the family who loves her, enjoying life like the woman I encountered above. Instead she has been a prisoner of a man who despises her, awaiting a death sentence in a tiny dark room by those who for their own agendas and purposes, would do his bidding. Michael has stolen so much time, joy and happiness from Terri and her family. How very sad and tragic.
How unfortunate....../sarcasm/
I never realized how extensive the repercussions of Terri's fate is! Since most MEN aren't THAT responsive to their WIVES, I hope the state of Florida doesn't find out!!! THEY could be NEXT on Greer's hit list!
> Her husband is a dog.
That good? He acts more like a large scorpion that spends most of its time under a rock.
LOL!!!
SO true!
SO TRUE! By the way.... not sure what the
"how unfortunate" comment meant....
Call me slow.....
not sure at all....
**go see her himself.**
I thought the judge was blind.........
Musings from a parallel universe...
All judges are wonderful and brilliant fellows. George Greer is especially brilliant, even a genius of the first rank, although legally blind. The fact that he can't read only highlights his superior intellect and intuitive grasp of truth. In his courtroom, the law is always applied with a stunning impartiality, and he infallibly issues the correct ruling every time. Never has a mistake been made in his courtroom, and it would be inconceivable to admit the possibility of an evil or prejudiced agenda driving his decisions.
George Felos is one of the most compassionate, caring individuals this world has ever seen. He loves people so much, he would like to see them dead, rather than suffer the least bit of pain or discomfort. He also possesses telepathic and telekinetic powers, according to his book "Litigation in Spiritual Practice." What a fine man he is.
Michael Schiavo is one of the most courageous people of our time. His singleminded pursuit of his disabled wife's casual (and alleged) request not to undergo burdensome medical treatments is an inspiring testament to marital fidelity. The fact that he has fathered two children by his live-in girlfriend only shows the depth of his love. He would never want Terri to suffer, knowing that he was lonely and without a companion.
The evil individuals who hope to stop Terri's death by starvation and dehydration are ignorant, misinformed boobs who waste their time praying and working for a culture where euthanasia is unheard of, and where the law reflects human values and the tradition of respect for life that this country was founded upon. How dare they speak up against the all-powerful and all-knowing men in black robes? Who do they think they are?
How dare you insult scorpions that way. Her husband is a Michael Schiavo. Why elevate him by calling him anything other than the third-lowest creature in the world?
Could you adjust the meter slightly to fit the style of Gilbert and maybe sing it to a Sullivan tune? The mood of the text would fit perfectly.
Actually, I was just repeating what O-from-F found.
Good point though. I was just taking a bath, and several times asked hubby to check the soup I left simmering on the stove. Do you think he checked it?
Will this do?
All judges are good, so wonderfully good.
And George Greer is especially so.
His outstanding knowledge
and obvious wisdom,
are always right out there to see
(even if he can't).
The voters in Florida,
they just re-elected him
so it must be the case
he's the best that can be.
How can it be, then,
that so many people
on Free Republic,
and so many places,
find fault with Judge Greer
and his rulings?
They must be mistaken,
or else very stupid,
to quarrel with George, George, and Michael.
These three fine fellows
want what's best
for Terri Schiavo.
Her death by starvation,
and slow dehydration
is what they so ardently desire.
And so to those folks,
who might disagree,
I have only this to say
"Have a nice day",
and if you see a certain Felos
coming your way,
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
You two are killing me!!
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty certain Michael introduced evidence in the malpractice trial to show that Terri wasn't PVS. Therefore, if she became PVS, she did so while under his care. It'd be nice if the coroner could suggest that that seems suspicious enough to merit an autopsy ..."
Excellent and unmistakeable point of fact, supercat. I guess I overlooked other references about this contradiction which is clearly demonstrated here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1345963/posts?q=1&&page=51#74
This equates to prosecutorial misconduct situations. But this is a civil rather than criminal case, so the standard for proof is lower. Now if only an attorney or law firm interested in helping Terri would act on this clear contradiction.
You are part of the problem, so it's not surprise you would defend the problem. You've identified yourself as a Florida lawyer and personal friend of the corrupt judges in this case.
I've reviewed some of your recent posts, and frankly, I'm surprised you're here. You defend liberals and bash conservatives. You call the right "fanactics" (sic), and Rush Limbaugh "puke." You had to jump into a thread about Arthur Miller and start name-calling because someone pointed the truth that Miller was a liberal. Why that should be so upsetting to a "conservative" is beyond me.
You win the troll of the day award.
This is my first time here....
may I please say that
I WILL BE BACK!!
I like this much more than some of the other "big blogs" I usually hang out at.....
Ya'll are GREAT!
smart- thoughtful- full of facts- and (MY FAVE) FUNNY!
I LOVE IT!
Hope ya'll will help me feel at home....
Thanks
(was that too mushy?)
