Thanks for the reminder of her impressive resume, yes I had almost forgotten that she held that position at the State Department which she resigned from last year to concentrate on the Bush/Cheney campaign. I believe she was very active at head quarters and the W for Women events, as well of course she often traveled with the VP to various rallies and fund raisers he was speaking at plus of course speaking herself at various W for Women events.

I wonder if she will go back to the State Department now it would be a great pity for her previous experience not to be used in this field.

The more I think about it I feel she will run for some sort of public office.

By the way Liz Perry actually has four children 3 girls and the youngest one born last year in the middle of the election campaign is the boy Philip Richard. I read somewhere she was back at work about 10 days after having Philip and I think back on the road with her parents about 3 weeks afterwards. She is one determined, strong and obviously very dedicated lady in regard to her ideals and political beliefs and IMHO a very gifted lady who equally comes over as a kind, compassionate and loving mother. Definitely well worth watching for the future.

Maybe that's the explanation! The plastic surgeon's knife slipped on one of those lifts, and Pelosi got a lobotomy instead.

I'm so glad that's cleared up. I was really worried that anyone could have gotten elected to the Senate who was that stupid. The explanation for Kennedy is clearly alcohol-induced brain damage. Or maybe it's partly brain damage from oxygen deprivation due to submersion at Chappaquidick.

Now we just have to figure out what happened to Boxer and Kerry.

When people say Dick Cheney talks in a monotone, I often think to myself that he could talk to me in that monotone voice every day and ALL HE WANTS. Liquid gold is a great way to describe it, that is the sexiest voice I've ever heard in my life. And I pay attention to these things (wink).

I started to add that he could also operate a snowblower for me wearing whatever clothes he likes. But I decided not to say that. ;-)

IIHIHOIIC?

**Maybe she NEEDS a lobotomy, along with the eyelift? **

Yeah. What you said. ;o)

Week is busy - hubby's on a trip - I'm not cooking - I get the bed to myself (+ cat) - psycho (now known as elvengrl in freeperland) is sweet - we're doing facials tonight and eating junk - that about sums it up!

***Now we just have to figure out what happened to Boxer and Kerry. ***

It's easy to figure out what happened to Kerry--botox overload, paralyzing brain, common sense, common decency, and personality.

Boxer . . . I think it has to do with the static electricity method she uses in doing her hair. Interferes with her brain waves or something.

Your schedule when your hubby is on a trip sounds like mine . . . enjoy having the bed to yourself (with a little livestock of course), and no cooking!

Have fun with psychogirl. :-)

Glad to hear things are going well.

I got my eyes refracted last Friday and have some trial soft contact lenses, although when I go for a recheck I'm going to ask about getting the toric lenses for astigmatism. The good news is I can still be refracted to 20/40 (my driver's license is due for renewal in May).

I'm waiting for a call from the local school district for the final step in being matched with a student in their mentor program. I'll be spending one hour a week during school hours with a (in my case, grade school) student, doing various things to help build the child's interest in school, study habits, abilities, etc. I'm really looking forward to it. It can be as structured or unstructured as the mentor and mentee want; the main thing is to build a relationship with the child through constancy and caring so they are motivated to stay in school and achieve their potential.

From Fox News: Exclusive! Elmo, beloved star of television's Sesame Street, has apparently escaped his captors. He was found wondering aimlessly through the streets of Tikrit when he was picked up by U.S. soliders. "He was out of it," said a seargent. "Babbling something about 'secret numbers' and the letter 't'.

Elmo was flown immediately to Ramstein, Germany where he was treated, debriefed and reunited with his long-time-companion, Cookie Monster.
