Republicans allege 737 illegal votes in governor's election (GOP gets what it deserves)

Republicans have discovered and verified 737 illegal votes in Washington's ultra-close governor's election, state party leaders said Wednesday.

Gregoire won the election by just 129 votes in a hand recount of 2.9 million ballots, after losing the first two counts to Republican Dino Rossi. She was inaugurated earlier this month.

The GOP has held congress for 10 years. Also the Presidency for 4 years. If they haven't passed legislation to protect elections from Dem vote fraud, then they deserve everything they get. If they don't send prosecutors around the country to prosecute these scandels then they deserve to have every election stolen from them in 2006 and 2008. It is time now for action.

Instincts (and really little more) tell me that a good 2-5% of the Democrat votes cast are fraudulent. Year in and year out.

This should be a job for the FBI. Too bad they're down for their naps.

How about an email campaign to the RNC in Washington. Maybe that would "wake them up." Time to prosecute voter fraud throughout US. Only by sending them to jail will this slow down.

A police agency needs to work this.

Vance said the 737 illegal votes broke down like this: -186 felons in King County -54 felons from elsewhere in the state -44 people who died before absentee ballots were mailed -10 who voted twice in Washington state -6 who voted in Washington and another state -437 provisional ballots that were illegally fed directly into voting machines, as reported by King, Pierce and Stevens counties.

Why am I reaching the ineluctable conclusion that about 99.5 percent of these illegal votes were for Gregoire?

don't flame be but isn't most of this a state issue and not a fed issue....many states don't seem to have the same problems or at least not to the same degree. I admit that if the race were closer than fruad would most likely be more prevalent but I think the state should first and foremost be fixing this rampant Democratic cheating....

Yes, emails that point out to the RNC that their supporters GOTV, send money, etc. and then have some or much of that effort p!ssed away by dim voter fraud. The dims want their base to doubt the validity of all elections - easier to get them stirred to the point of revolution. Is this what the RNC wants their supporters to come to also?

You must support picture IDs to vote - scanners of ones thumb print would be better - but only SA countries are advanced enough to use those. A paper receipt similar to that given at an ATM machine so that audits can be run later - your receipt would ID you by a number tied to your voter registration.

(Used to get bank audits by mail all the time. The letter would say something like - "on (date) your bank balance was (blank)" - sometimes even a brief history of that week's deposits, checks. If this is correct, ignore this letter, if not correct these are the steps to take.)

The vote audit sent to you using the address on your voter registration could say in the last gen'l election you voted for etc. if correct etc.

Then when fraud is found - some people need to actually go to jail, duh. This is very serious. In Ohio that female dim activist who recruited junkies to fill out voter registration applications was found dead in her home under suspicious circumstances as soon as it was learned she was behind the "creation" of voters.

Exactly correct! Spot on!

Oh, bilhosty. You apparently don't understand the finer points of diplomacy and politics. The Republicans are trying to win the hearts and minds of the centrists. You can't do that and stand for principles too...< /sarcasm>

Dude. They are already illegal votes. That's the whole point of the article. More legislation is just double-dog illegal. The challege, maybe insurmountable, is to get dem infested precincts to obey the existing laws.

Sorry. The FBI is too busy investigating the rosters of Boy Scout Troops. They can't be bothered with trivial stuff like vote fraud.

Are there not safeguards (somewhat) in place? Whatever happened to the judges of election? & those allowed to challenge ballots?
