For all the complaints of the left about the "stupidity" of George W. Bush and the Red State voters, there's a very disturbing trend going on behind the scenes here. For three consecutive presidential election cycles (four, if you count Clinton twice), the Democrats have nominated candidates who may very well be certifiable loony-tunes.

"Was Queeg the one with a thing about strawberries?"

And I had more support from the world when I quit than when I started. And I will go to my grave being at peace about it. And I don't really care about what they think. The mask is slipping..........and BJ STILL doesn't understand that he wasn't President of the freekin WORLD.

They gave you a forty-first in terms of moral authority - after Nixon.Nixon was loyal to his friends and genuinely cared about the underdog. Clinton only cared about getting away with his crimes. After using the IRS against his enemies like Nixon only wished he could and his treasonous selling of military secrets to the Chicoms Clinton should not have been impeached, he should have been impaled.

Thanks for posting this article. Since I receive cable I watch only Fox News and hardly ever tune into Peter anymore, so I miss these little gems of entertainment. From what I saw of Clinton with his wet hair (and 'looking whiter' than the last time you saw him"... Brit Humes on Special Report tonight) he is looking like a shell of his former self, thinner and not too healthy.

"I had more support from the world when I quit than when I started," he claimed.IOW he was well-liked by the socialists and dictators of the world ... the French, the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the Germans, the Palestinians, The UN, .....
That's enough for me to question his moral authority.

Isn't Peter Jennings supposedly the most leftist of all the 3 MSM major news anchors? (Jenning, Dan Rather, Tom Brokraw (sp?)) Why would he want to badmouth the US Left's darlingboy?Peter definitely trails Rather in the leftist rankings, but not by all that much.
I think Jennings was simply trying to give Clinton a chance to run through his usual litany of "rightwing conspiracy, sex-obssessed, couldn't win at the ballot box" whines in a friendly forum. It's probably like sweet music to Jennings' ears.
The problem is Clinton was too touchy and took it the wrong way. Peter's probably really hurt that Clinton misunderstood his intent.

Truly nuts. Petahh asked him for the first sentence from the mystery novel he wants to write.
Clinton: "The White House aide was found dead...."

"You don't want to go here, Peter," Clinton warned, after Jennings told him that historians ranked him second to last of all presidents in terms of moral authority. Who was last?
