Former President William Jefferson Clinton formerly opens his Presidential Center, which will hold the papers from his two term presidency.
Attending the ceremony will be President George W. Bush, former Presidents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush, along with First Lady Laura Bush ,Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Rosalyn Carter and Barbara Bush.
You and your ilk certainly won't put him there; you've been wrong about everything so far, so I'm not worried.
Poor Hank; he just can't handle the fact that people actually LIKE George W. Bush.
I had to leave today after the ceremony was over, so I missed all the argufying. Darn.
O'Reilly is discussing the Rich pardon now. LOL!
Noone here does what?
Wants to debate the direction of the GOP or worships blindly a Republican?
You said it...!
I think that Veritas is being treated a little harshly. Like I said, I have known FREEPER Veritas for a year or so. We are friends outside of the forum. I see him and talk to him on a daily basis. I know what the guy is made of...and he is hardcore conservative without question.
That said, I even get weary when the President is so glowing about a rapist, ex-president that has no class.
And, yes, the President is a plain-spoken man, but he does have the ability to get in subtle jabs at his political opponents. I'll give you that.
However, I think that the initial reactions to Veritas' comments missed Veritas' subtle jab. Most FREEPERs responding to that post didn't interpret his comment correctly and immediately went into defense/attack mode. I know that he meant that because he was standing right next to me when I was reading his post. Maybe it was lost in the reading of his text, but that's what he meant.
Look, no one wants the President to be more successful than me. I was up for 60 hours (with only an hour or two of sleep) working for the President. As I noted, I was one of the campaigners who was spit on by Kerry scumpporters. But, that doesn't mean that I won't comment that I think the President didn't need to do what he did today.
And, I think that my point about not being rude or gracious is right on, as evidence by what Klintoon did immediately after the ceremony: criticize President Bush about Iraq (Clinton: Iraq war alienated US from world).
You can't be nice to these people. Frankly, they don't deserve it.
Thank you for posting that again.
Talk about rude. I saw that Chrissy/Monice Crowley exchange.
She has written two books on Nixon and Chrissy was praising one and she said "two" and he stuttered a little, clearly not a fan of the one book while liking the other and then declared she was on Hardball now and Monica coolly and firmly said "I'm ready".
I switched the channel while offering a prayer for her fortitude. I'm sure she'll handle the spidiot well.
(Freeper EllaMinnow came up with "spidiot". Spitting Idiot. You like?)
Or the fact that George W. Bush is actually a good man with good ideas, and a real leader.....
At least no one that I've come across in the last four years on this forum.......
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to see it. Chris Mathews is so rude, but is especially rude to women conservatives like Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham and now Monica Crowley.
I wonder if the reason they hired Monica is because they used to have Laura Ingraham on but she doesn't back down and has kind of been making fun of all of them on MSNBC lately.
CREEPY
BTW, I find the fact that all the potentates had to carry umbrellas very funny. What horrific planning!
Wonder if her toe muscles are connected to her eye muscles?
Which is exactly why a really strong Christian like the President, led by a merciful God, IS nice to them.
I truly believe that the President revealed a depth of character and faith today that goes far beyond politics.
Human instinct tells you to punch the creep in the gut, but the Spirit-filled man doesn't do it.
I agree. President Bush lives his Christianity and showed his class and compassion in his speech today.
I have no plans to go to the Clinton LIEbrary to see how X42 has rewritten history......but I'd make a trip to Little Rock to see the Counter Clinton Libray:
http://www.counterclintonlibrary.com/
Now I have to wash my eyes with bleach after reading that.
Wow, I was kidding about the poisoning remark, but after I saw these pictures of Bill, he looks VERY, VERY ill. My goodness. I won't be joking about his health anymore.
