Discovered papers: Hanoi directed Kerry

The first documentary evidence that Vietnamese communists were directly steering John Kerry's antiwar group Vietnam Veterans Against the War has been discovered in a U.S. archive, according to a researcher who spoke with WorldNetDaily.

One freshly unearthed document, captured by the U.S. from Vietnamese communists in 1971, indicates the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese delegations to the Paris peace talks that year were used as the communications link to direct the activities of Kerry and other antiwar activists who attended.

Kerry insists he attended the talks only because he happened to be in France on his honeymoon and maintains he met with both sides. But previously revealed records indicate the future senator made two, and possibly three, trips to Paris to meet with Vietcong leader Madame Binh then promote her plan's demand for U.S. surrender.

I respectfully disagree. It's one thing to peacefully assemble and protest your government, even if you were a member of the armed services protesting against the Vietnam War.

It's quite another to sit there and have a non-government sanctioned meeting to conspire with those who we are fighting against -- we have a word for that, it's called treason and is punishable by death in the U.S. Constitution.

The bottom line is that Kerry is a treasonous traitor. He met and conspired with the North Vietnamese communists and undermined those who were serving our country in the process.

As you guessed from my earlier response, I don't buy the evidence which has popped up. The guy has been in politics for over 30 years. He's been running for President for almost two years. His record has been scrubbed clean up and down by people looking for dirt. Don't tell me that the appearance of this "evidence" a week before the election doesnt make you worry about its authenticity. We can win this election on mobilizing our base and getting out the vote-- we don't need this. Let us be cool and hardheaded, and not kneejerk at every piece of news.

Here is a link to an interesting entry in the Texas Tech archives. It was a proposed symposium in 1968 at Chapel Hill, N.C. John Kerry was going to be one of three speakers covering "The Peace Movement". The other two speakers were:

Dagmar Wilson:
While G.I.s and Marines were dieing in the rice paddys of South Viet Nam, Noam Chomsky and 8 others went to Hanoi and spoke against the People of the United States and the unpopular Viet Nam War. The rest of the group were Jane Fonda, Stokely Carmichael, Dagmar Wilson, Rennie Davis, Eldridge Cleaver, David Ifshin, Pete Seeger, Tom Hayden.

and Cora Weiss:
Cora's associate during the Vietnam conflict was no other than Wilford G. Burchett, a man recruited by the Soviets as an agent in 1934 and who during the Korean war aided in the North Koreans and Red Chinese in the interrogation of American, British and Australian POWs who on occasion was known to brutalize. During Vietnam where he was an advisor to Ho Chi Minh and also had access to American POWs in North Vietnam.

Don't tell me about politics. I have been heavily involved for many years. These yahoos are as "smart and crafty" as you think they are. John Kerry left too much dirt out there and the internet is a very useful tool in finding it if you know where to look.

DUELING QUOTES...

8 “Kerry insists he attended the talks only because he happened to be in France on his honeymoon...”   (source)

8 “Kerry married the former Julia Thorne, a Philadelphia heiress, in 1970 in Bay Shore, N.Y. They honeymooned in Jamaica.”   (source)

"In France on his honeymoon"? LOL, oh really?! Was Kerry honeymooning in Paris while his wife was honeymooning in Jamaica? That's what the above quotes would seem to suggest!

But then what's one more lie to a man who found it so easy to betray his country? No wonder his mother found it necessary to counsel him about the importance of integrity from her death bed.

How can so many Americans vote for a traitor like John Kerry? I think Bush will win and I will do everything I can to help him get Re-elected. But it's depressing to me that so many Americans can actually support a fake self-described hero like "Hanoi" John Kerry. A man like Kerry should lose all 50 states in a landslide. A man who fought for Communism against Pro-American policies should never be able to become our leader. A Kerry victory(vote fraud victory) could actually cause a Civil war, and in my opinion am not sure that wouldn't be our only choice to save this country. I know everyone says this is one of the most important elections in our lifetime but I am not sure everyone understands just how important this election really is. George W. Bush must win this election no matter what.

Apart from the question of how many people spend their honeymoons looking for something to occupy their time, isn't there somewhere reported the fact that "both sides" here meant the NV and the SV communists? Anyone who recalls, please refresh my memory.

Sorry, but I have to disagree as well. Kerry's claims on soldiers committing widespread war crimes might now be even more dispicable.

I could almost see a bit of rationale if he was truly relating stories he heard from other soldiers, which is what his advisors always state.

However, if Kerry's false claims can now be attributed to a directive to ramp up opposition from the North Vietnamese Government then I would say at the least he betrayed his country and fellow soldiers.

Either way, he's never offered any sort of apology to the Vietnam Vets and for that reason alone feel that he doesn't deserve to even run for president.

E-mail, Call your Senators/Reps and demand an investigation, with this kind of evidence, they should arrest him immediatly !! Just because he is a candidate for President does not make him ABOVE THE LAW !! This is solid, not a DAN RATHER report.

You can go straight to the document source: HERE IS THE DOCUMENT
Beautiful. Thanks!

Duh, they do give citations for the original documents right there in paragraph 2 of the NY Sun article itself:

The documents - one dubbed a "circular" and the other a "directive" - were captured in 1971 and are part of a trove of material from the war currently stored at the Vietnam Archive at Texas Tech University at Lubbock. Originally organized by Douglas Pike, a major scholar who is now deceased, the archive contains more than 20 million documents. Many are available online at the Virtual Vietnam Archive and, as the election has heated up, have been the focus of a scramble for insights into Mr. Kerry's anti-war activities. The Circular and the Directive are listed as items numbered 2150901039b and 2150901041 respectively. Their authenticity was confirmed by Stephen Maxner, archivist at the Vietnam Archive.

THESE DOCUMENTS ARE AUTHENTIC!

I should have looked harder. Those item numbers make the search extremely easy.

Did you catch my previous post regarding a proposed symposium in Chapel Hill, NC where John Kerry was going to speak on the peace process? Please read it if not.....SCARY!!! (Look at the backgrounds of the other two speakers)

He was still holding a Naval commision at the time. What a private citizen doers politically is one thing. The actions of a member of the military, an officer no less, are quite another. US Constitution Art. 14. This is not about opinion---it is the letter of the law and prosecutable even now.
