Some gentleman (I forgot the name) who is supposedly an expert in these matters has a new book out. He was a guest on Hannity's show 2 weeks ago. He claimed UBL was last seen in June or July of 2003 in Iran.

Remember who authenticated the tapes as being real. The politically correct/ Clinton packed C.I.A. The same C.I.A. that knew Saddams WMDs' had been transferred to Syria but told Bush something else in hopes he would hang himself.

I've been saying OBL is dead for over a year now for the same reasons posted on this thread. But, I dont think Bush wanted to reveal this because once he did, the demos would say " Great, war is over. We've caught the perp. Bring the troops home." They dont understand and never will that the War on Terror is much bigger than just OBL.

I totally agree with this article. I have been stating this for a couple of years on FR.

A PUBLIC appearance by UBL would be the death knell for GW Bush and would be a continuing Public relations nightmare for the GOP. An appearance by UBL would solidify a Kerry victory and be a "RECRUITING COOP" for Al Qaeda like no other.

See post #99 -- impersonating OBL would be a fantastic opportunity for the US... Then remember who it is that "authenticates" the recent audio tapes...

I can only think of one reason why OBL, if he's still alive, wouldn't be making any more video tapes to taunt us -- because he doesn't want us to see the result of the plastic surgeries he's had in order to diguise himself as an Eskimo woman to evade capture.

I have felt and said this since Tora Bora. Audio tapes don't sway me. It's been two years plus since we last saw a new message. With his history I read this as he's dead and buried so deep in some forgotten cave that even his followers won't find him....and, without a body Bush can't say squat.

No one can vouch when the tapes were recorded. Plus the guy has been real quiet for a long time. N one has heard a peep. I bet he is dead. He cannot remain quiet for that long. All he has to do is run a video tape of him holding up a current newspaper, or perhaps have him comment on a big recent event. The silence is deafening. That only means one thing to me.
