DOES CNSNEWS.COM HAVE THE STORY OF THE YEAR?

CNS News is a nice little right-of-center web-based wire service operating in Alexandria, Virginia. They seem like pretty solid reporters, and not likely to bite on, say, memos that are supposed to be from an Air National Guard office from 1972 that were created on Microsoft Word.
So it's kind of surprising to see this report:
Iraqi intelligence documents, confiscated by U.S. forces and obtained by CNSNews.com, show numerous efforts by Saddam Hussein's regime to work with some of the world's most notorious terror organizations, including al Qaeda, to target Americans. They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction, in the summer of 2000, during the period in which United Nations weapons inspectors were not present in Iraq. And the papers show that Iraq trained dozens of terrorists inside its borders. One of the Iraqi memos contains an order from Saddam for his intelligence service to support terrorist attacks against Americans in Somalia. The memo was written nine months before U.S. Army Rangers were ambushed in Mogadishu by forces loyal to a warlord with alleged ties to al Qaeda.

Fox News just showed it as a pen, calling it a technical foul! Although we all know him as a fraud, It would helped our cause to catch "Hanoi John" cheating!

During the weeks following the liberation of Baghdad, at CENTCOM and Pentagon briefings, the Generals and DoD officials regularly reported on the latest discovered rooms of potentially inciminating documents - carted out of Baghdad in pickup trucks, sent to DC to be sorted through, investigated - more documents to sort through than all the post-WWII documents, pre-Nuremberg trial.
Saddam kept records. Good news for his victims.
Good news that we have news outlets willing to do what's unpopular - stand up to the popular scoundrels on the world stage - speak up for the Iraqi people, and expose Saddam's crimes against humanity.

FOX "doctored" the photo, plain and simple.

They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, Is this the October surprise, that the anthrax came from Iraq ?

"Cool. How fitting that they chose to release it through the New Media, instead of some tired old Press Briefing event."
I agree - VERY cool. However, most Americans still get their 'news' via MSM.
This needs to get mainstream attention.

Newsmax essentially recycles stories, adding some "creative" enhancement we could all do without.
CNS is straight up, but, of course, conservative, which gives it zero creds with the MSM, which is, of course, unbiased. (Cough, cough, choke)

Are we suppose to believe FOX? I don't believe it was a pen either. It's taking all of the experts to long to come out with the facts. There are more videos out there to look at.

I'm not sure I'm buying the story. While I truly hope I'm wrong, I just think this is too good to be true. There's something fishy about the timing...
The Democrats have played dirty a lot during this campaign, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if this was another "trick" they are trying to wiggle in.

Just for the record, what I meant by "run through the "main stream" media" was to get the word out to folks who only watch network news or read the local paper.
Not many average Joes even know what CNSnews is...
