CNS News is a nice little right-of-center web-based wire service operating in Alexandria, Virginia. They seem like pretty solid reporters, and not likely to bite on, say, memos that are supposed to be from an Air National Guard office from 1972 that were created on Microsoft Word.
So it's kind of surprising to see this report:
Iraqi intelligence documents, confiscated by U.S. forces and obtained by CNSNews.com, show numerous efforts by Saddam Hussein's regime to work with some of the world's most notorious terror organizations, including al Qaeda, to target Americans. They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction, in the summer of 2000, during the period in which United Nations weapons inspectors were not present in Iraq. And the papers show that Iraq trained dozens of terrorists inside its borders. One of the Iraqi memos contains an order from Saddam for his intelligence service to support terrorist attacks against Americans in Somalia. The memo was written nine months before U.S. Army Rangers were ambushed in Mogadishu by forces loyal to a warlord with alleged ties to al Qaeda.

Rush is all over it now....
I emailed him a few minutes ago
Rush is talking about this now.
Rush Limbaugh is reading the news on his show right now (lengthy article).
Rush is saying that they have already said that they do not have original documents, just copies, making forensic verification impossible.
None of this new. The Mainstream Media has been ignoring this info for well over a year. Dont expect them to catch on now.
Curiosity only. When did Rove mention "a few surprises"...I missed it, unfortunately.
If I'm not mistaken, he said "we have a couple of surprises" to Sean Hannity in the last week or two. I heard it, but can't date it. I don't even remember if it was on TV or Hannity's radio show, since the TV often serves as background noise for me.
Thanks....here's hoping.
Tougher to prove with DNA, however. Tissue samples give us DNA.
May I add that I hope the existing tissue samples are in great pain?
Shalom.

You may, as long as it is qualified as being 'intractable'.:-)
Shalom to you too!
If I were them, I would definitel beef up security and get backups.
If so, the timing is pretty terrible.
Why not release this stuf *last* Tuesday? Think a verifiable report on this topic woulda made last week's debate just a little different?
I agree with point 1 and 3,,,,,,,,,but not holding my breath on 2.............the MSM will do everything it can to KILL this story.
Get your popcorn and pajamas ready, boys and girls!! The campaign is JUST beginning.
"October Surprises" released in the next few weeks, from multiple sources, will leave the sKerry campaign gasping for air.
It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of SOB's!!
Defeating sKerry is more fun than a human being should be allowed to have!! :-)
last tue was not oct
Thanks to your officer for his service.

My experience is that transcription is immediate, as fast as CNS can type the word "transcription." So this is a little suspect.
