PARIS If the world could cast a vote in the United States presidential election, John Kerry would beat George W. Bush by a landslide, according to a poll released on Wednesday that is described as the largest sample of global opinion on the race. . "It is absolutely clear that John Kerry would win handily if the people of the world could vote," said Steve Kull, director of The Program on International Policy Attitudes of the University of Maryland, a co-sponsor of the survey. "It is rather striking that just one in five people surveyed around the world support the re-election of President Bush."

Hmm, and how many billions of muslims are there in the world today? I'd imagine at least three-fifths of the world is either Moslem or Communist.

Talk about wasted band width. Seriously! I saw this on Drudge and I freaked a bit. Then I realized it is a worthless world poll and it means nothing. Can anyone tell me how many electoral votes the 'rest of the world' gets? Oh that's right, zero. Get excited about this Kerry! This is huge news for you!

You might have something there. We could extend this poll into some kind of world wide election. The country with the most votes for him would get him.

Well this world is an evil place... the holy word "DEMOCRACY" which just means mob rule.. is revered by most, to be sacrosanct and unquestioned, even by Russians..
Democracy is the road to socialism. Karl Marx
Democracy is indispensable to socialism. The goal of socialism is communism. V.I. Lenin

It should be like moving to a small rural town. It's common for people from the city to move out to the wide open spaces & immediately call for a stop to all additional development.

People from other countries say that they feel that way about their own country, but we know that they really know that America is the greatest country. They are jealous and bitter and they'd love for our country to turn out as bad as theirs did.
To: Callahan
Since many countries in the world do
not wish us well (due to jealously and other reasons), then the fact they want Kerry shows that we should NOT vote for the guy!
Do we really think that the world is chummy and wants the best for the US?

Still here waiting by the phone for the World Pollster Organization to call. My vote could swing it back our way! Why oh why don't they call... /sarcasm

My friends, Schadenfreude is a great thing, but to be able to enjoy it on a global scale like this, would be truly stupendous! That alone is reason to vote for GWB! anyone know how to say Schadenfreude in french?

Kerry's last feat was just a warmup for what would happen with him in the Oval Office.

"Kerry's last feat was just a warmup for what would happen with him in the Oval Office."That was very well put. And chillingly true. Anyone with a brain should be afraid of Kerry making it into the White House. VERY afraid. If he wins, we all lose.

We will prevail.
We will Prevail
He accepts the challenge still,
As four more years we chant.
Hes the man to lead us on,
We all know Kerry cant.
Bush has the moral courage,
Well back him through the fight.
Hell never blink or falter,
For he has seen the light.
The terrorists are running,
Our troops will take them out.
We know the fight will take time,
Thats what, its all about.
Time to act and not back down,
So high our Flag will sail.
Bush Cheney in November,
We know, We will Prevail.

Your point is well proven, by the number of people who vote with their feet.
To: Conspiracy Guy
Thank you. Had to send that one out. You nailed it. GW Bush=positive. Kerry=negatve. He said a few weeks ago that, knowing what he knows now he'd still vote to send troops into Iraq...yet today he said something to the affect that he supports body armor for our troops (though he voted against it), that Bush did th ewrong thing at the wrong time in the terrorist state of Iraq and that he, Kerry, would do something with our troops.
He didn't say what. We know what. He's also still beating the unilateralist drum as the formerly pro-Saddam Italians grapple with terrorists taking anti-war women hostage and threatening to kill their children unless Italy pulls it's troops out of Iraq.
Some statesman. Some Catholic. Keep it up John. Add more blood to the collection on your hands.
