PARIS If the world could cast a vote in the United States presidential election, John Kerry would beat George W. Bush by a landslide, according to a poll released on Wednesday that is described as the largest sample of global opinion on the race. . "It is absolutely clear that John Kerry would win handily if the people of the world could vote," said Steve Kull, director of The Program on International Policy Attitudes of the University of Maryland, a co-sponsor of the survey. "It is rather striking that just one in five people surveyed around the world support the re-election of President Bush."

The Rest of the World

Why on earth would anyone believe that the "rest of the world" would want ANYONE except a man that would weaken the United States to become president?

(i.e. John Kerry)

The rest of the world is still in recession. It is natural for them to want the U.S. to fail so they can reap the rewards. For the foolish that think that the rest of the world somehow cathartically know what is best for the U.S. is sheer psychotic nonsense.

Maybe the French would like to vote for Kerry and Clinton to run the European Union. Let's just see how popular these guys would be then.

Check out the John F. Kerry Timeline.

So, Steve Kull, like John Kerry is a tower of jello.

I find it astonishing that so many Americans are afraid to stand-up and defend our nation. What's the deal with these people? Hmmmm?

"Well the world doesn't get to vote, at least until Monseur Kerry and his ilk succeed in turning over U.S. sovereignty to the U.N."

Right. That includes those shadowy dictators Kerry met with without meeting, who prayed he'd win.

I lived in Greece as a student in the early 70s. I got a clear taste of anti-americansim and without a doubt The global vote would have been 80% McGovern and 20% Nixon.

Reminds me of the the movie Stripes when they are playing poker. we are in Italy, The guy in the top bunk has to make the guy in the bottoms bunk bed. If we were in Germany it is the other way.

Bush wins in the U.S. If we were in the U.N., Kerry would win!!

What a farce
