I said to "Han Solo" (that's my hubbie) after Bush's speech that the RNC gave Bush the "turbo drive" force that will mean the checkered flag for the Bush/Cheney team in November

So, a draw on domestic issues and a campaign to peg Kerry as too weak and indecisive to lead and protect families from threats was wildly successful. That sounds about right. Mission Accomplished.

Based on what we hear from Democrats, this would have been much bigger without Miller's speech because his speech would hurt Republicans.

So either there would have been a 20 point spike instead, or Zell was a positive effect and the Democrats were full of bunk.

I think it was the latter.

"Well atleast we know what caused Bubba's heart ailment.
Once again, proven beyond a shadow of doubt it was Bush's fault."

I posted this a little earlier on this thread. One of Bubba's kneepadders at CNN/Time emailed him a heads up on this result.

"This also explains why Thurston Howell III gave his Rebuttal at Midnight."

Freepers who watch Jeann Lejacquestrap moi Kerri, said that he looked and sounded like he had medicated himself before his midnight speech.

The thing about the Kerry Campaign is that it is very brittle. Instead of taking their lumps and running a decent and solid campaign to the end, even when they are down in the polls, like Dole did in 1996, or Mondale in 1984, this time we are going to see Kerry "explode," driving away supporters who now think things are hopeless, and keeping away Democratic voters from the polls. Look for Kerry to do an even worse job than McGovern in going down with the ship. I don't think modern history in the U.S. has had a presidential candidate fall apart the way Kerry will.

DUers are freaking out!

Your right!

Thursday morning water cooler talk to a Democrat whom was taking bets on Kerry to win that I proudly took some action with, was ready to pay up 61 days before the election.

He said Kerry was finished and he want to know if I wanted my money now.

I said keep the bet open and lets make it double of nothing.

He said he could take the action because Kerry & Edwards are a losing ticket and have no chance of winning in November.

He said Arnold & Rudy did him in. WOW!

I hear Edwards is counselling Kerry to bring a lawsuit against TIME for printing the poll.
